Wavemaster punching bags come in red, black and blue. Freestanding heavy bags are available in 70 pounds or 130 pounds. Choose a combo punching bag stand that allows you to hang both a heavy bag and a speed bag. Combo bag stands allow you to hang a bag in your home even if you have plasterboard walls and position the heavy bag in a way that leaves enough space for you to perform roundhouse kicks as well as punches.
Heavy bags are filled with foam, sand or water. Sand-filled bags offer a lot of resistance when punched. This makes them a good choice if you are training in a traditional martial art that places a lot of emphasis on joint toughness and conditioning. Foam and water-filled bags are easier on your joints, but still give a good workout.
