Buying Tips

Think about your sport and skill level when selecting equipment.

Select from strung and unstrung tennis racquets that suit all playing styles. Racquetball and squash players need lightweight but protective eyewear to shield them during competitive games.

Badminton players choose shuttlecocks designed for the right combination of speed and carry. Select between shuttlecocks designed with top-quality bird feathers for optimal flight or more durable nylon feathers best suited for beginners. Choose squash and tennis balls designed for use by experienced or novice players alike.

Entertain friends indoors or outdoors with durable table tennis sets and equipment that is easy to use for any player. Turn to platform tennis for fun in any season.

Expert Advice

If you're a beginner, opt for a heavier racquet with a larger head size for control and more power. Unstrung pro tennis racquets are ideal for advanced, competitive players. Unstrung racquets allow players to customize your string tension and string pattern. Less tension propels the ball with greater velocity, but leaves the player with less control. Tighter strings provide greater control.

Squash balls are rated by a colored dot system that refers to the amount of bounce the ball delivers. Double yellow-dotted balls have the least bounce and are suited for advanced players. Balls that feature blue dots have the most bounce and should be used by novice players.
