The packing slip in your package will contain detailed return instructions for all returnable items. Below are the return options for most items:
- In-store Return
- Pre-paid Return Shipping
- Standard Return Shipping
Dick's Sporting Goods Return Policy does not apply for all items. For a list of exceptions and instructions on returning please read our Return Exceptions .
Please Note: In store purchases can only be returned to your local Dick's Sporting Goods retail locations and can not be returned to the web store.
1. In-store Return
Avoid shipping charges and receive a refund, store credit or exchange items by returning your online purchase to any of our Dicks Sporting Goods retail locations. Items must be returned within 90 days of item delivery with the following information:
- New and unused items with all original packing materials, manuals and accessories
- Packing Slip and Ship Confirmation email
- Credit card or gift card used for purchase
- Stores CANNOT process returns to Bill Me Later or Pay Pal. Credit will be placed on a merchandise card for these returns.

2. Pre-Paid Return Shipping
For convenient return processing on most orders, your packing slip will include a pre-paid, pre-addressed label for your return package to be shipped via the US postal service. This service is a fixed rate of $8.00 which will be deducted from your refund amount.
- Pack new and unused items securely in the original item packaging, whenever possible including all paperwork, parts and accessories.
- Remove the mailing label portion from the packing list.
- Complete the Return Reason Form on the packing slip and enclose in your return box.
- Affix the pre-paid label to the package removing all extra labels from the outside of the package.
- Send your package via US Mail by giving it to your postal carrier or dropping it at a local post office or mail drop point.
Additional Information:
- To receive a refund, items must be returned within 90 days of delivery.
- You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned order.
- Refund for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser, minus the pre-paid return fee.
- Track your return shipment through My Account at DicksSportingGoods.com.
- To ensure proper refund processing do not reproduce the pre-paid label in any way.

3. Standard Return Shipping
If you would prefer to use your own shipping method:
- Pack new and unused items securely in the original item packaging, whenever possible including all paperwork, parts and accessories.
- Complete the Return Reason Form on the packing slip and enclose in your return box
- Remove all extra labels from the outside of the package

- All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
- It is recommended that you use UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return.
