Finding Products

There are two ways to find the products you are looking for on www.dickssportinggoods.com: Searching by Keyword or Item Number in the search box or by Browsing the links from the Home Page. No matter which method you use, you will find a variety of sorting functions to help you find what you are looking for. For search tips, click here.

Learning More about Products

If you would like more information about an item you see on www.dickssportinggoods.com, simply click on the item. This will take you to a Product Detail page that provides a complete description of the product. Use the Product Tools section on the right to browse information.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

To add items to your Shopping Cart, follow these simple steps:

  • Before adding an item to your Shopping Cart from the Product Detail page, it may be necessary to choose a size and/or color for the item you want to purchase. Click on the drop-down menu under the product description to select a size and/or color:

If a size or color is not listed in the drop-down menu, it is out of stock and is not available for purchase.
  • Enter a quantity in the field provided.

  • Make note of the Availability of the item:



This tells you when we expect to ship your item from our warehouse. Once your item has left our warehouse, the shipping method you select during Checkout will determine when your order will arrive. (For example, if your item takes 1-2 business days to leave our warehouse and you select "Overnight" shipping, it may actually take 2-3 business days for your order to arrive.)   • Click the button to add the item to your Shopping Cart.

Making Changes to Your Shopping Cart

You can make the following changes to your Shopping Cart:

  • Update the quantity. To do this, simply type in the quantity you wish to purchase and click .

  • Remove an item from your Shopping Cart. To remove an item, click on Remove from Cart, or change the quantity to zero and click .

  • Move an item to your Wish List. If there are items in your Shopping Cart that you want to save but do not wish to purchase immediately, you can move them to your Wish List by clicking on Move to Wish List.

  • Return to shopping. If you wish to continue shopping on www.dickssportinggoods.com, you can use the Shopping Cart to store items you wish to purchase. Click Continue Shopping to search the site for additional items. At any time during your shopping experience, you can return to your Shopping Cart by clicking My Cart.

Proceeding through Checkout

During checkout, please note that:

  • For security purposes, the billing address you enter must match that of the credit card you use for payment

  • When selecting a shipping method, keep in mind that it may take 1-2 days for your order to be processed in our warehouse before being shipped. Details about this processing time appear beside your item, under Availability:



(For example, if your item takes 1-2 business days to leave our warehouse and you select "Overnight" shipping, it may actually take 2-3 business days for your order to arrive.) For more information about Item Availability, click here.
  • Review your order carefully. You cannot make changes to your order after submission. Your order is not complete until you click .
