Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product with one flaw This is an awesome product for the price. I bought this, a 300 pound weight set, and a flat bench all at dick sporting goods. I can use this thing to shoulder press, do shrugs, with the bench you can bench on it, etc. it's awesome, building it was pretty easy, took about 15-20 minutes at a slow pace. Now there is one flaw to consider, see that connecting bar in between the two poles that actually support the weight bar? Yeah, if you're squatting, you hav to step over it, I knew this going into the purchase, but I didn't think it was as high as it actually was. I can squat 400 pounds, I only have a 300 pound weight set, but heavy squating is a no go, especially with that big step. Oh, I'm 5'10" and I have to kinda get under the bar at a weird angle to squat as well, then step over it. So if you're over 6' tall....look for something else perhaps? Also, after a week of using it, the glue for the rubber pads that the bar goes on, it came off. Easy fix though, just a warning. Also, if you're new to squatting, don't use this, this comes with no safety rails. So to sum this up, it's cheap, gets the job done (sorta) and if you have been around the weight room and KNOW what you're doing, consider this a handicap sort of equipment, if you're new to the gym scene, try getting the half rack by fitness gear I thinks. I think it's like $350 but it solves all the problems I just stated. I was just on a budget and went cheap. Aside from that, it's a really great strength equipment for the guy on a budget.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from O.K........ I bought this thing for my birthday and i tried doing squats with it. I was working with heavy weight and as you can see, the rack is tilted and when i picked the squat bar off the rack it was hard to walk out and perform the movement, because its is tilted and there is a bar there so you have to stay inside of the thing while squatting. Its uncomfortable. I was much more worried about my safety rather than how many reps i was suppose to get. Anyways, I use this for curling the 45 pound bar. Its like a rack for curling it and you can take a bench with the rack and put it under the rack and it can be used as a bench press...Overall im saying that im not going to recommend this to a friend but if you don't do squats with it i would recommend this to a friend.................
