Rated 5 out of 5 by from bowflex We received our bowflex yesterday and it was very easy to put together. Delivery people were awesome- they brought our bowflex into our room where we were setting it up. I thought it took a little long to to get to our house but that's ok. Love Sports Authority

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowflex Blaze Delivery guy called day before Christmas stating truck broke down. Same guy on different order and different company called day before Thanksgiving stating driver was sick. Seems to be a pattern here. As such, I have not received the Bowflex Blaze Home Gym yet, but Tuesday is coming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I have a small unfinished crawl space in which I built an 8.5'x8.5' deck with rubber floors to work out. I needed a home gym in order to do complete workouts, but also take up minimal space. This machine and my elliptical combined fit very nicely in that small area and give a rather comfortable workout space. The Bowflex was not too bad to setup. It would be best to have two people, but I did it by myself. Give yourself a few hours to set it up (took me about 2-3) and then another hour or two of tinkering to adjust to your body size, etc. The device is very sturdy and provides all the types of workouts that I need. I feel as though the weight (i.e. 50lb "bow") does not reach it's peak resistance until the end of the each pull. So that the entire length of each exercise does not give an even amount of resistance. I suppose this is to be expected, but that would be my only complaint. The total resistance does meet my needs after adding the additional upgrade kits. If you plan to use for leg press (or other high weight exercises), you may want to consider the additional cost of ~$150 for the extra upgrades to bring the machine to "410lbs". I would give 4.5 stars, but that's not an option, so 5 its is since this machine meets my needs almost perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product. Easy to use. Took about three hours to set up. It says it's upgradeable to 410 pounds but only has room for 100 more pounds. In not sure how it would be upgraded. I use it 4-5 days a week and have noticed increased strength.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update to previous review I have changed my mind about the Power Rod system being better for high rep sets. Try going as heavy as you can and you "will" reach muscle failure. Example: 6,5,4, sets. Once again I feel the Bowflex is the most complete machine out there. Anything I can do at the gym and then some I can do at home. What are you waiting for!!! Here is an example of a workout I did today. >>>High intensity 10 minute elliptical warmup. On 45 degree angled bench: Hand gripped bench press 12,12,6,5,4. Chest flies 12,12,10,10. Lower chest fly raises 10,10,10. Over head chest press 8,8,8. With sliding seat: Single calf push aways 15,15,15. Flat bench: Chest flies 10,10,10. Shoulder press with straight bar 10,10,10 No bench: Hand gripped calf raises 12,12,12 Trap raises 12,12,12. All sets had about 15-20 second rest between sets. Just enough time to switch Rod resistance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy!!!! Let me start by saying that my wife and I have been going to a gym for the last 9 years. I would consider ourselves to be Gym Rats. Recently we have had a hard time making it to the gym regularly due to our 3 year old daughter not being in daycare anymore. Buying a Bowflex Blaze and making a awesome home gym has been one of the best decisions we have made. We have been able to have very intense workouts in the comfort of our own home 24 hours a day. Our Bowflex Blaze is so versatile due to it having three pulley systems plus the leg pulley. To sum it all up, if you can think of a workout you can do it on the Bowflex Blaze. I also like the Power Rod system even though I do love and have extensive experience with free weights. Although I find the Power Rod system to be better for higher rep sets, Example: 12,12,12 or 12,10,8,6, and pyramids. Either way you will be killed at the end if you push yourself enough. I also feel that this machine can either supplement a gym membership, which we are doing, or replace it all together. The Blaze is also very easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself in about 2.5 hours, the instructions are very clear, and I was taking my sweet time. I also did buy the 310lb upgrade due to being an experienced fitness enthusiast. To sum it up, if you think you are motivated enough to workout at home and not just use the Blowflex as a glorified coat hanger. Place your order now!!! My home gym consists of a Bowflex Blaze, Schwinn 431 elliptical, Hoist decline Ab bench, and a few power bands within a 10.5x13 foot room with a 5x9 foot wall mirror. A wall mounted 32inch TV and nice Sony shelf system with ipod dock and subwoofer provide the entertainment.
