Info

Product Information:

Featuring plenty of new updates, the Brooks® PureFlow 5 continues to provide the lightweight flexibility you came to love in the PureFlow 4. Instead of the popular BioMoGo DNA, this year’s model uses DNA LT, an all-new foam midsole material that is 10% lighter than BioMoGo. By decreasing the weight, you remain light on your feet and more flexible than before. No-sew overlays add durable support, while the sculpted platform cradles your foot.

FEATURES:

  • New midsole material DNA LT is 10% lighter than the popular BioMoGo DNA
  • Mesh and synthetic upper materials increase breathability and comfort
  • New upper construction utilizes no-sew overlays for added support
  • Sculpted midsole and outsole platform conforms to your foot, for a second-skin fit
  • IDEAL heel reduces stress and pressure at the heel for a smooth landing
  • Nav Band through the midfoot for support
  • Sculpted medial midfoot for arch stabilization
  • Omega flex grooves promote a natural foot flex
  • Improved toe flex for flexibility and responsiveness

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable, classic I love Brooks. This shoe has a nice look but it feels a bit cheap. The material on the tongue is like plastic. The cushion is nice and the arch support is good. Nice light shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need To Try Them On First I sprained my foot and was looking for a new pair of sneakers once I started walking without crutches again. I have a pair of Nike Free Fly Knit's and I like the cushion on the bottom but was looking for something with more support. The sales person in the store recommended these and they were exactly what I was looking for. Lots of cushion, all over, not just the sole, and they offered support without feeling stiff. I have another pair of Brooks and tried on another pair in the store too but none compare to the cushioned feel of this shoe. The only complaint as other reviewers have mentioned is that they definitely fit snug and run 1/2 a size small. I'm glad I tried them on in the store. I have a fairly narrow foot so they're ok for me with a very thin sock or sometimes no sock at all. The tongue was a little uncomfortable at first too but seems to have softened up after a little breaking in. They're a comfortable shoe and work for my needs but I do wish they were just a little less snug.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How does his happen ? Honestly never been more disappointed in this experience. I had to buy these online because you didn't have these in store, not that big of a deal. We wait a week to get them and what was in the box was almost unreal. The shoes were clearly worn several times on cement. The inside of the shoe was filled with dog hair and worst of all there was dog dump on the heel of the shoe. How these even got repackaged and sent is inexcusable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightweight Nice weight, good feel on the sole, but the upper half has a lot of seams and loose material that rubs the top of my toes. I feel like I always need to adjust the tongue of the shoe. Nice look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THEY HURT!! Help I have worn Brooks running shoes for years. I never purchase shoes online but decided to do so because very familiar with size and quality. OMG!! I've had them for 1 week hoping I needed to break them in...... They make my whole foot hurt! the bottom aches after a walk! I will attempt to return and purchase new shoes ,it may be too late. If not I am going to write to Brooks and start shopping for new shoes. Very disappointed:(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality, comfortable running shoe Although the shoe is well made and comfortable, I ordered the shoe online as a gift for my granddaughters birthday. When I received the shoes, I was very disappointed to find that I was shipped a pair of shoes that had obviously been returned to your store by another customer / the first shoe I saw was soiled on the side and the bottom of the shoe was dirty - not an appropriate gift for anyone. Ended up returning the shoe to the store for s new pair. The store personnel made the return process very easy which was appreciated. I probably will not be ordering online again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too tight, too stiff I have purchased the Brooks Pureflow since the 2nd generation and have always enjoyed running in them. I was excited for the new look of Pureflow 5, however, they are way too tight. I thought they needed time to break in, but that never happened. The tongue dug into the front of my ankle. Also, it didn't seem like there was much cushion/support when running. I am disappointed I paid full price for them. I immediately went and purchased an older generation because I could not run comfortable in the 5th generation ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not satisfied with purchase The tongue of the shoe cuts into your ankles, impossible to wear short socks. Overall, not satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the shoes but too tight Bought these and wore them for a week and they were tight, I was hoping they would break in a little. Went back to the store and tried a half size up, still too tight, the next size would have been too large. Just not a good fit for me. The shoe overall is awesome but not for me. I traded them for Brooks Launch 3's and totally love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them Brooks has done a great job marrying style and function together with these sneakers! I absolutely love them. They're comfortable but have support enough to wear all day or for training.
