Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Driver and much more! (Albatross) Purchased this from Dicks' Sporting Goods- very pleased with their help and equipment! Decided to try driver out at local course practice range. First drives were right an some left then straight. I decided to play 9 holes -drives were extra long and most were right down the middle anyway on the 8th hole 275 yds par four i hit my tee shot straight at the green and lost sight of the ball then approached the green and could not locate my ball after looking all around the green and not finding it i looked in the cup and there it was! it was a very lucky shot and am very pleased with Callaway Great Big Bertha driver! i will soon buy Callaway Steelhead irons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I upgraded from an X2Hot driver to the GBB. The GBB hits it longer and straighter and often higher. I've struggled with driver consistency for years. The X2Hot could be good but my misses were just as bad as they'd always been. I bought the GBB mid-summer 2016 as I was wrapping up a series of lessons and also increasing my practice time. So, they're not exactly apples to apples. I have improved, but some of that is due to better short game and better putting and better mental game. But, no doubt, being farther down the fairway or even farther but in play in the rough makes the next shot simpler. I have struggled with pop-ups and with weak pushes (don't call it a slice). While my swing has improved and I can hit the X2Hot better now than before, the GBB really excels in two categories. One, the mishits are much better. I've hit very low on the club face and still managed 200 yard worm burners. Not pretty, but so what. Who wouldn't take 200 yards in play on a mishit? Two, when you connect with the sweet spot with a nice upward hit, the GBB can unleash monster drives. You can absolutely still slice or hook it or duff it. But the GBB will maximize a reasonable swing, and really amplify a good swing. The adjustability is very good. I have the 10.5, dialed down to 9.5 (since I've really worked on hitting up at the ball and have found 9.5 maximizes my distance). I have it set with a draw bias and also have the movable weight set all the way to draw. It can overcook draws in this position, but it helps minimize the dispersion to the right when I come over the top or leave the face open. For me, it's a good swing weight too. Not too light that you can't feel the clubhead. I tested the M1 alot too and I found it hard to feel the carbon fiber head and I found myself overswinging. I tried some of the Ping G25 drivers, and they were good, but the GBB was better. Incidentally, I found the same thing when comparing G25 irons to XHot irons a couple years ago. The Callaways were 4-7 yards consistently farther with a slightly tighter dispersion than the Pings. One very nice design feature of the GBB is how the head is shaped to maximize hits that are too close to the hosel. This head is somewhat oblong and has a good amount of weight left of center on the hosel side. The goal of course is not to hit it on the hosel side, but alot of mid/high handicappers do and the GBB makes the most of it. In case it helps for your comparison, I'm 44. I came into the 2016 season a 21, and finished a 17 - and would have probably finished at 15 if I could have posted scores the first two weeks of November. Struggling in the high 90s the first part of the year, I shot a number of rounds in the 80s after I bought this driver. Combined with the swing improvements, I'm 3-4 clubs longer with the GBB. The bunkers for wayward drives are now actually an obstacle for me, which is nice. Sometimes I'm in them, but sometimes I clear them. Where I was hitting 3 or 4 hybrids into greens, I'm now often hitting 7 irons. Two thumbs up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GB Bertha Driver This driver lives up to its reputation. Borrowed my buddy Bert's driver for a round and the improvement in my contact with the ball was so dramatic that I just went out the next weekend and got one for myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good overall Hit quite a few shots in the hittting bay on two separate occasions...the launch monitor indicated I was consistently straight. After purchase I went to my driving range 6 minutes down the road and proceeded to hit almost everything STRONG left! I then tweaked the weight adjustment to a slight fade and things seemed fine after that. The ability to make adjustments to the club was why I looked at this Callaway club in the first place I would have appreciated it , if I were able to take the demo to the range...would have probably selected a different shaft ! The sales person was VERY patient and helpful...caught him at a slow time so he was able to devote a lot of attention to me
