Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat little rifle. Worth the price. So I bought this rifle about a week ago and I just got back from the range today. My overall impressions of this rifle are good. This is a great rifle for a bug-out bag. Warning: Long & thorough review. The back cap that contains the receiver and barrel is a bit difficult to open. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to help get it off. I suppose this is a good thing as it keeps everything inside, but it continues to give me difficulty. Assembling the rifle is very easy. The barrel can only be inserted one way, the receiver fits snugly, and the magazines insert and eject smoothly. The rifle isn't balanced and is back end heavy. The receiver is offset from the center which makes ambidextrous shooting clunky. I fired one hundred Remington .22 LR Golden Bullet rounds, recommended by a friend. I experienced one stovepipe ejection error, but otherwise the rifle operation works smoothly. The trigger pull was a bit stiff and harsh on my fingers. I would recommend wearing light gloves to prevent tearing up your fingers. Loading magazines was a little difficult. The shape of the magazine and the retention wire that holds rounds in is harsh on my small fingers. Comfort was definitely not taken into consideration when this rifle was designed. Sighting was difficult to get used to at first. I'm not very happy with the rear peep sight. It definitely takes some getting used to but after firing a dozen rounds I got the hang of it. I don't shoot very often so my aim isn't the greatest. Still, my grouping at 30ft was very tight. At 50ft my grouping was a little larger. I was holding the rifle up in the air and without assistance of a mount, so my aim wobbled a little. If I had a mount to rest on, my grouping would be much much tighter. The railing on the top is very tiny and has virtually no grip. Standard mounting brackets won't fit on this rifle. I think it's more decorative than functional which is a shame. I think this rifle would have benefited with a small scope attached. When I shoot this rifle, I'm not really sure where to put my non trigger hand. Shooting this rifle left handed means my right hand is close to the ejection port. I'm a left handed shooter and I found this annoying. Holding this rifle feels more like holding a paintball gun than a real rifle (in regards to hand placement). It doesn't bother me though, I play paintball regularly. I'm deliberately trying to point out the flaws because, in my honest opinion, this is still a good rifle. I don't like to gush and waffle about how good this rifle is, people want to know what the flaws are and if it's still worth buying. I can say most definitely yes. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend it. It's a solid and dependable rifle right out of the box. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars due to the flaws stated above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Assemble and Take Down This is the perfect rifle for backpacking, hiking, traveling, etc. The receiver, barrel and two (2) magazines fit nicely in the plastic rifle stock. The end cap fits snugly so it is most likely water resistant. Assembly takes less than a minute due to the well engineered design of this rifle. The receiver fits nicely in the stock and held in place by a bolt and convenient knob to lock it into place. The barrel slides nicely into the receiver and held securely in place by a locking ring. Insert a loaded magazine and you are ready to go! The sighting mechanism is simple and the accuracy very good. This is a well designed survival rifle and the price is very good.
