Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Swimbait I use the 4.3" and 4.5" size on 4/0 1/8oz weighted Gamakatsu spring lock hooks with great success. Great bait for the Largemouth and Northern Pike up here in Michigan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keitech Swing FAT I have a 5.8 keitech rigged on one of my rods at all times whatever lake I go to. This bait only pulls in big fish which is great. Recently caught an 8 pound and 6.8 pound bass. If you use these big 5.8 swimbaits you need an owner size 6 hook or VMC or Gama size 7.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Action included Tried out this bait for the first time today in cold waters and had a good size 4-6lber largemouth shake the hook at the boat . It was hit sitting on the bottom & not on the retrieve .It has a great fall when stopped & tail stands up & pulses with any current present I fished it weightless in 3 feet water.I also used the Keitech shiner with results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Action I primarily fish for snook, redfish and trout and paddle tail jigs make up a big part of my artificial arsenal. There are dozens of different manufacturers and styles but the Keitech is head and shoulders above any I've tried. The action is truly incredible. Here in FL our water is usually off color so you need a bait with a healthy tail kick so the fish can see as well as feel it in the water. You also want a paddle tail that will produce great action when worked slow because our fish get very lethargic when it gets too hot or too cold which is basically 90% of the year. The Keitech has great tail action even when worked super slow. Most baits advertise that the tail will kick when free falling but I've tested them in my pool and they don't, however, the Keitech does. This is also a great bait for beginners because all you have to do is cast it out and reel it back, the lure will provide all the action necessary. Another issue I have with many paddle tails is the profile is too thin. I like the more substantial body of the Keitech, it gives the fish a bigger target and I believe lethargic fish are more willing to expend energy for a more substantial meal. I'm not sure what the scientific benefit of the ribs on the body are but they provide more surface area for lathering the baits up with your favorite scent like pro cure. The biggest down sides of the Keitech is the are relatively expensive, they aren't widely available, and they aren't extremely durable. Dicks has the best selection of any place I've found but they still don't offer all the colors in all the sizes. I caught 3 nice snook recently on a Keitech and the lure was pretty much destroyed. You can repair the lure to some degree with superglue so I recommend keeping some handy. After a fish or two it will be hard to keep the bait on the hook or jig head, that's when I use the superglue to glue it to the hook. Although when you consider tournament fisherman might pay a couple hundred dollars a dozen for live baits a $2 lure seems pretty insignificant, especially when you know these things are going to catch fish!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bait but tears easy These are an awesome looking swimbait in the water. They perform well but every little fish that grabs the tail seems to tear it off. I know the action is there because of that but others hold up better. If you buy the Keitech make sure you get the Fat series. They are a lot better than the regular. Works great with a Owner weighted beast in 4/0 or a Trokar 5/0 weighted hook.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pricey and not durable (crazy glue helps) great bait very affective ,but lots of times if u get 1 fish the bait wont stay on jig anymore but if u crazy glue it after its played out you can a few more fish out of it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Super Swimbait. Highly Recommended" I purchased the 3.8 impact fat swimbaits at a fishing expo 3 years ago. Sales rep. talked me into it. Glad he did. I catch fish everything time I use it. This is my go to bait when nothing else works. I fish on long island ponds and lakes and Fla ponds and lakes. This is a great product, only thing, they are a little pricey and they don't last very long. Get torn apart easily after a catching a few fish, but other than that super swimbait.
