Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very stiff I purchased these shoes as a replacement for my moab midst. They look exactly the same however the material is very stiff. I had fought through it for over a month of daily use but to no avail. They are now a permanent fixture in my closet. I wish I could return them and swap them out for another set of mids.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No size 12W anywhere I went in to buy some size 12W sneakers/casual for work. I was using a gift cert I received for Christmas. I had a pair of Merrells before. Great shoes. No Merrell's in a 12W. Looked at other brands, no 12W's. Made the mistake of settling for a 12 M. Tried wearing them a couple days, but were way too snug. Rather than run to a couple different stores in the city, I looked online. Come to find out Dick's doesn't sell size 12 Wide unless I want to wear cowboy boots or winter boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit, All Day Comfort Pro: I have a narrow (by Men's stds) heal, and am usually required to over-tighten laces in order to keep my foot in the shoe. The tongue, and opening of these shoes are heavily padded, and the lining is a "grippy" material, which combine to hold my foot firmly in place w/o cranking down on the laces. I have only owned for a few months, but wear these every weekend as a 'work' shoe around the yard - I can wear them all day, and feet don't ache @ night; very good arch support..(The only) Con: All of the positives noted above, create one negative; In the course of a day, I am in and out of the house a few times - the great padding and grippy material make pulling the shoes on, a little more labor intensive than an ordinary Tennis Shoe / Sneaker. You won't want to just slip these on for a walk to the mailbox, but for a day in the woods (or in the yard) these have been great so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hiker I ever bought! From the moment I tried these on in the store, I was sold. It was if they designed this hiking shoe specifically for me. It has awesome support, good grip, a sturdy sole (cant even feel those pointy rocks when walking on them) and they are wonderfully comfortable. In fact, I have nerve damage in my feet and usually when I wear shoes, it feels like my feet are burning up and I cant wait to get out of them, but not with these puppies. For the first time in years I can comfortably wear these shoes all day with no discomfort! That alone counts as an A+ in my book. I am tempted to buy a few more sets to store away just in case they discontinue making them in the future!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard heel for walking Very hard heel is awkward when walking. Even with a wide size it is snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from these hiking shoes are great for any conditions, hiking, biking, and casual wear These are my second pair of Moab Ventilator Hiking shoes, they are very comfortable and after wearing them all day long my feet still feel relaxed. They hold up well in any terrain and the insoles are very comfortable, great style too. Many of my co-workers are wearing these same hiking shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer Got my first Moab Ventilator two years ago. Loved them from the start. The arch support and fit is perfect for my foot since I have a narrow foot and long arch. Wider versions are available for those with wide feet. The name is appropriate for its breath ability. The sole is sturdy but comfortable. I finally wore out my first pair after nearly daily over two years. Just purchased my second pair.
