Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I have always been skeptical about mechanical broadhead but I figured for $30 and I got 4 broad heads I couldn't go wrong and boy was I right I've got a deer this season thanks to these heads

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable performance!! I have used these for years! When I find something that works well, I stick with it. There's a lot of new products out there, but if it's not broke don't fix it!! I hope these will continue to be available, and not be discontinued for newer marketing purposes! There's a lot to be said for reliable performance, and peace of mind in good equipment!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible These are my first and last mechanical blades. I've shot 2 deer with them and neither one deployed. The first one wasn't pass through and I found the arrow on the ground closed up. I figured it closed when it pulled back through. The second one the arrow broke off in the deer and the blades again were still closed when we gut it. Don't waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To Failed to Deploy I can guarantee you this head did not fail to deploy. I've been shooting them in one form or another for 24 years. I currently shoot a Mathews Z7 pulling 55 pounds and have never had a problem getting two holes unless I hit the opposite shoulder. I have seen times when the blades will come forward after passing through but rest assured they did open. Normally the skin will stretch and you will get a fist sized exit hole. The entrance hole will not look as big as it would with other types of heads on the surface but once you get the hide off the deer you will see that the head did indeed open. These heads are some of the best on the market. I've experimented with other heads but I keep coming back to spitfires for effectiveness, ease of use, and accuracy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a excellent product and a great value Bought this product for the value. After I used this product and was able to knockdown a deer with ease. This product put the deer down very easy and kept it fromrunning only fifty yards. I am sold on this product and will purchase more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NAP Spitfire MAXX Two Deer Down Recently harvested two deer with the NAP Spitfire Maxx, they impact consistently with my field points, and open as advertised creating impressive blood trails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed to Deploy Shot a deer last year with these and the blades did not deploy. Luckily, it was a great shot and I found the deer after some tracking. Thought this was just a fluke and was willing to give the spitfires another chance to prove themselves. Shot another deer over the weekend and the blades once again did not deploy which lead to only about 6 inches of penetration (got lucky and recovered this deer as well). I was thinking my bow did not have enough fps for the head to function properly, but I am shooting a Mathews Switchback XT at 73# draw weight which should be more than sufficient. Going to Rage Extreme which my father has had great luck with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not trophy tip What dicks advertises here and what they sent me isn't trophy tip. It wasn't a mix up of products as the description of the product matches exactly what's on the product package. But whatev, any NAP is still a good expandable broadhead

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Kept Secret I have used these for the last 3 years. I first bought them because they were less expensive. I have never missed with one yet and most times it is a through and through. Because of this I have cleaned the arrows and broadheads after each kill and used them again. I have broken some ribs with them also and was still able to use it again. Right now I have 6 left and each one has been through a deer twice! I have never tracked more than 75 yards with these. They fly straight because of the small design and I believe they pass through the deer quickly for the same reason. I had an 8 point Buck jump a little in the air and then look around and then start eating. I thought I missed him......but....about 5 mins later he staggered and fell over dead. Double Lung and he didn't know he was hit! They should re-name these the Nasty Quick Surgeon or something. Simple design. Easy to clean and set back up for the next deer. I have an old compound with #65 draw. You don't need a big hole that makes a mess, damages meat, and has a deer running away with the arrow still in it. Save your $ and buy these!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior performance!! I use these regularly and I have no plans to change. The longest blood trail I've had to follow was about 40 yards. No o rings to fail...the blades snap into place.
