Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent - if you have big hands. The glove itself is beautiful and has the width that I really look for in a glove. There were three main issues I had with the glove that led to me returning it:1. The actual glove Dick's carries is not what is shown online - it has an open back not a closed back.2. The interior of the glove (where you put your hand in) is huge. I wear a size L batting glove that has a little excess room in the fingers. The glove was too big for me to close effectively without going to two fingers in the pinky, which I'm not a big fan of. If the glove had a closed back I may have been able to compensate for it, but it did not work with the open back.3. This is just personal preference, no Velcro strap. Nokona doesn't offer slow pitch gloves with a Velcro strap, so this is no fault of Dick's.My overall experience with ordering online in store with the staff was fantastic, they were incredibly helpful and I highly recommend the store. I ended up taking this back and ordered a fast pitch model with a Velcro strap and smaller finger stalls that fits beautifully. If I had larger hands, I'd have loved this glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Glove DO NOT STEAM The photo above is incorrect and is the ws-1300c. I took a photo of the WS-1300 and attached it below. It is significantly different. Dicks need to do a better job with Nokona product.I bought this as an all-purpose glove for coaching little league/playing with my son but also for playing slow pitch with the fellow aging rock and rollers (49). This glove is well made, a bit stiff but if you get Nokona's oil (much better than liquid as it is a gel like stuff that offers more control and deeper penetration# .and play with it, it breaks in beautifully and in not that much time. its worth the money and I like that it is American made.Nokona also stands behind their product which hooks me into a company immediately. The glove #my 2nd, more on that below# had a problem with the webbing/basket as it was bending into the palm rather than out to form a nice pocket. No matter how much I tried, it wouldn't reshape. I couldn't figure it out so called Nikona who asked to see a photo, then called me back and told me to send it in. They picked up all shipping charges. I got it back about a month later. They had fixed the problem and included at no charge a tube of their oil. They couldn't have done a better job helping me and taking care of the problem. We are having an exceptionally warm fall right now so I'm able to get out there and use it. Its breaking in nicely, the pocket is forming and I love this glove. Will never go back to Rawlings. Nokona has won a faithful customer and evangelist for their product. Now, my breakin tip is this: DO NOT STEAM this glove. This glove is very stiff off the shelf so the guy at Dicks recommended steaming it. He did so and the next weekend warming up with another coach the stitching tore and the glove was useless. I looked at it closely and noticed that the leather stitching had shrunk, dried out and was cracking EVERYWHERE. I took it back to Dick's and they replaced it #through the internet# at no cost but even the manager said the cause was probably the steaming. The replacement glove was the one I mentioned above with the webbing problem. I noticed on the tag of the new glove that the warranty is void if you steam it. so, once again DO NOT STEAM THIS GLOVE!.After all this, I still highly recommend this glove for its performance, feel (as it shaped to my hand quickly), and more importantly that the AMERICAN company who makes this is a pleasure to work with and stands behind their product. Real people from Texas answer the phone/emails and are very helpful in a timely manner. Thanks Nokona!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR QUALITY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased this glove about 2 years ago.Conditioned this glove thoroughly and enjoyed it until about 3 months ago when the lacing started to disintegrate. I contacted Nokona directly and their response was $65 plus shipping. I have never had an issue with Rawlings or Wilson gloves.Avoid this brand and buy something else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glove, love the smell This is a great glove! It is stiff, but that is how a Nokona is, great breaking in. One comment though, it doesn't have the one index finger hole, it is the normal back where you can see your knuckles. Real durable glove, awesome upgrade from my Advisory Staff Series 13" Wilson.
