Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am dissatisfied. The case was hard to use and doesn't fit properly when assembling. It was also missing a hitch pin that I failed to notice before leaving the store. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from plano airliner telescoping rod case Built like a rock. Will protect several rods nicely. Unfortunately, it is a bit weighty if one is flying-in to a remote location where there is a weight limit on gear. I"ll keep this anyway because it will make a great storage case.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs some re-engineering Be advised, full extension use on an airline will cost you $175 to bring aboard. Shipping containers have to manufactured to move it by UPS or FedEx. It does not come with locks and you need two locks to secure it from airlines baggage handlers. The holes on the tube do not accomodate locks so you have to look for somewhat puny bicycle locks to do the job. Bubble wrap you poles will keep the poles protected and in one piece when they arrive. The upper section is a touch wobbly. Would prefer more rigid.
