Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rod at a great price! I had seen this rod on Dick's web site several weeks ago. I was in my local Dick's store and saw it in person and was very impressed with it. I purchased it and a Quantam Team KVD 100H to go on it. I went fishing the next day and was pleasantly surprised how this rod handles. The only weird thing about this rod was Quantum's placement of the hook saver. For the price you will pay for this rod you really can't go wrong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst rod I've owned I haven't had it a year. Didn't buy the "extended warranty". Went to go fishing, tip was broken. Center has already come out of at least one of the eyes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shipping Package of Rod was excellent - no way to break. I have ordered rods from other retailers and have received them broken. The shipping package Dick's uses is excellent. The rod was a great value as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quantum Escalade 7 Foot medium heavy action rod. The 7 ft rod that i got was a single piece casting rod. It's Also a IM8 48 ton Hi-strain modulus rod that which makes it very strong and very ultra light for it's length. Originally this was a $99.99 rod and got it on sale for $49.99, best investment I made. This rod I use for evertything, jigs, crankbaits, lip-less, spinners, chatter baits, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from for a MH the feed back is perfect. I purchased this rod because I finally switched to the dark side and needed a casting rod. For the money I was shocked how much of the bottom I felt. I call it my map rod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rod's!!! I've fished with these rod's now for over a year and LOVE them! Got both size's and they are Great. On here to buy more now cause they are out at the Dick's near me.For the price you can't beat them, sensitivity is unreal with these rod's and they are Very Light.Buying more to keep as spare's because I love them so much.Haven't had any issue's with eyelet's breaking off, only good thing's to say about these rod's.I actually use these more then my high dollar rod's.Wish I would have found these before I bought my other rod's!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tournament tough I'm a tournament angler that fishes all over the country. I've got hundreds of fish on these rods and they have held up amazingly! Sensitivity is unreal compared to some of the other 100+ rods I've owned and it will definitely help you catch BIG fish

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rod Great rod at a good price. Lightweight but has some backbone. Micro guides appear to be good quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good rod for the price $50 First off I own a lot of high quality rods(st.croix avids,Powell endurance, dobyns champion, etc. ) I was looking for a cheap rod as a backup and seen this in the store for $50 and picked it up. I got the 6'6'mh fast and put a Abu Garcia revo winch on it. It's an im8 blank which is a good blank for the price. I have used it for 4 months now as a lighter Texas rig rod (usually 3/8's weight) and it has worked very well for me. It's pretty light sensitive enough for worming. Has nice small guides and my favorite hook keeper idk why( between the split grips). The action is a little bit more moderate than my other fast tip rods but still has enough backbone to land some hogs and I think it has actually helped me not lose as many fish. My biggest on this set up was a 6lb 8 black bass and it handled the fight no prob and I've literally caught hundreds of bass on this rod without issue. Comparable im8 blanks are around $100+ so if you can get it for $50 and are not a rod snob or want to add another rod to your line up I would recommend it especially if you can check them out in-store first. If you have a couple more bucks to spend (around $100) best bang for the buck in my opinion is 13 fishing omen black though. Tight lines
