Rated 2 out of 5 by from Paddle reliability could be better I purchased the paddle for use with my 12 foot Pelican Kayak. Paddle is lightweight and comfortable for extended use. In terms of ruggedness.. after five uses the glue joint bond holding the aluminum connector for the two paddle halves to the graphite tube broke free. Functionally it still works but will not maintain alignment of the paddles. Based on other reviews maybe i was one of the unlucky ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight paddle So far, so good! I used the paddle last week to navigate a river. I've been having shoulder issues, so I wanted a lightweight paddle that would allow me to focus on moving water, not hoisting a heavy paddle.I suggest two accessories. First, a paddle clip makes it easy to attach the paddle to the kayak when you want to take a rest. Second, a set of kayak paddle grips will make the paddle more comfortable to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lightweight and solid so far the only difference i've found in this and a friends high-end one is that his has a 'lure retriever' slot in one of the paddles and about $300, maybe a couple ounces but that's about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good starter paddle at a reasonable price Just purchased as replacement for higher cost paddles. I will say up front, I am not one of the people who is "nice" to my equipment. This paddle will be used in Midwest shallow, wide rivers, with little or no rapids, but plenty of strainers and submerged sand bars, This means it will dig bottom by necessity. If you are a beginner, buy something aluminum for this use. But for open freshwater and near shore salt water, this will be an excellent buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Paddle I ordered the Quest Force as a second paddle for use on the Missouri River. The paddle is well built and for the money is a good buy. The shaft is a little bit looser at the sleeve joint than my other paddle but was $50 dollars cheaper too. I think over all this paddle is going to fit my needs in an emergency situation or for still water since it is a little wider in the paddle area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth it!!! this paddle is sturdy and lightweight that you 're less fatigue at the end of day. It also floats on water (in case you drop it). I'm convince that this will hold up to daily use that I bought another pair for my wife.
