Rated 4 out of 5 by from River Largemouth Crusher! I'm always looking for an effective minnow hardbait to go after both large and smallmouth bass. The new Shadow Rap Shad is sized perfectly for largemouths and bigger smallies. On my first outing on a local river in Winter conditions this lure produced a 5# and then another 3# largemouth. The slow rise was important to me since I am primarily wade fishing this extremely rocky river. Sinking and neutral buoyancy models run the risk of hanging up too often. A bit concerned about some negative comments on the diving bill durability...haven't had issues with other Rapalas. I do upgrade hooks as needed but no issue with the hard pulling 5#er.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply built Normally expect quality from rapala like the lip has cracks that developed in it from just jerking it in cold water no vmc hooks either and rings are cheap as well rapala replaced with the 1 year warranty fishin in Chicago land in Illinois fish allOver and well nothing has really hit this lure so I am still a skeptic other rapalas produce more fish than this bait. Have over 150 different rapalas in different styles

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works.... I used this Shadow Rap Shad this past weekend at a tourney up a Lake Champlain and was able to land a few smallmouth bass. They all hit on the pause......so.....be patient!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great action Not just a good looking lure which the market is flooded with lures that look good but don't work as they should but don't. The rapala shadow rap looks and works really well and I've already caught nice fish with it?
