Rated 5 out of 5 by from very quiet and smooth I am 66 years old and I have had many treadmills over the years. The sole f80 is by far the best treadmill ever. I could not be more pleased the way it performs in every way. Smooth, powerful, quiet, it makes me want to run farther every day. I recommend this treadmill to everyone who runs for any reason.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly good Had this for less than 2 months and use about 3 times a week. The only issue is the speaker jack. After just a few times listening the music is on only 1 speaker unless I move it around. You would think for this price you would be able to plug in and out a lot longer than.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good!! I read through the reviews here and elsewhere before buying this machine. I was a little hesitant about the set up since most negative reviews mention difficulty in assembly and problems with pinched wires. Our unit was delivered 3 days ago and we assembled it same day. With two people assembling the unit, it took us about an hour to an hour and a half; I didn't time it. The only difficulty with assembly we encountered was the pictures for the two bezels at the base of the machine and at the base of the handles. The pictures were a little confusing. But even if you get it wrong, it's a very easy fix to correct. We paid special attention when connecting the cables together. Everything snapped together very easily. It's a really good idea to have two people assemble this, especially when attaching the console as someone needs to hold the console while the other person attaches cables and screws it in place. Everything lined up very well. We started it up after assembly and it did just fine. It did blow the breaker when brought up to its maximum incline. However the outlet we were using was GFCI. So if you plug it into a standard outlet, you won't have that problem. We bought a heavy duty extension cord and ran that to a standard outlet and haven't had any other problems. It's only had two days of regular use, but so far we are very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased With This Machine I've owned this treadmill less than one month but so far I am extremely satisfied with it. I did a bit of research on this and other treadmill models; the deciding factor for me was the warranty behind the machine. The Sole F80 Treadmill is as nice, if not nicer, than models one finds in the gym. I am making regular exercise part of my lifestyle and this piece of equipment is one tool that will help me sustain that goal. The programming choices are adjustable and challenging, and the accessories help minimize the boredom that can come with using a treadmill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sole Customer Service leaves alot to be desired I purchased this treadmill 12/26/16 and had it professionally assembled.Less than 2 weeks later the belt stopped moving. I called for the warranty and they told me up to 2 weeks to get it fixed. Completely unacceptable in my book as the treadmill wasn't even 2 weeks old. Customer service did nothing to speed up the process.UPDATE:service guy was out today and the the warranty department didn't send out the right parts! The motor is BAD! SERIOUSLY??!! Now they are telling me another 2 weeks before they send out another motor and get it installed. UNACCEPTABLE! Again no help from the customer service department.DO NOT BUY A SOLE PRODUCT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted I will admit that the assembly instructions were kind of difficult to follow, but once the job was complete, I was a happy person. This treadmill is quiet and has all the features I was looking for. Thank you Dick's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far... I have had the f80 for 3 weeks and it has worked perfectly. Love it.Also paid the 75 bucks to get it brought in and set up. We'll worth it. Prompt service and had it fully set up in no time despite my very narrow hallway it needed to go through.Great machine. Great service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have had mine for two years, happy with it :) Purchased my Sole F80 from a local Dick's in March 2015. Set up was scheduled with what I remember being a 3rd party that the store sub-contracts it out to in order to put it together. They were great, and definitely needed two people to bring in and place in my basement as it's quite heavy.I haven't had any computer or deck issues with the treadmill, and it's almost comparable to a LifeFitness treadmill I also use at Lifetime. Those are still better, but you'll pay $8000 for one. No thanks, I'll pay my $1500 and get one for the house that is almost as good, just not quite as smooth. I would highly recommend it, as I've owned both the F63 and now this F80. The F80 is better, more smooth, and I think the only thing Sole needs to start incorporating on newer models in order to stay competitive, are better/more contemporary front monitors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid construction but a couple major design flaws Product is well built except console/heart rate sensor handles are too low for average size people. I'm 5'11" and wife is 5'7", and we both have to slightly bend to grab sensors. Very awkward and uncomfortable for the back. In addition, the console does not raise upon increasing incline, so it's even more prominent and an issue when using incline feature. Also, the console is too far forward; when walking on treadmill and using sensor handles, kick-plate/cover on base is often kicked. I would have certainly considered another treadmill if I was aware of these major issues.
