I got this heated vest for my folks and they love it! The setup and controls were easy for them to pick up and they say it keeps them plenty warm especially under another jacket which is perfect as the vest is slim and fits nicely. The fleece is top notch and it looks nice!!

This works great. This heats up great and keeps you at a comfortable temp. It allows me to shed some layers and still stay warm. I use it on my motorcycle with a goretex shell and it works great. I can now ride when the temp is in the 40's without any problem. I am going to buy one for my father.

The electronics are cheap and ineffective. The connection between the vest and the heat control switch were loose and did not provide a secure tight connection necessary for an action wear product. The connection between the vest and the battery suffered from the same lack of attention to their intended use. These critical electronic connections on a product intended for active wear use should be firm and secure, instead they were loose and cheaply constructed. There was no way they could be relied upon to provide reliable heat to the wearer.

Vest doesn't heat as well as I expected. Too loose to keep the heat close to your body like it needs to be. I could really only feel the heat if I pressed the vest right against my body.

I've saw this item last year on some mail order catalog. I liked the idea so I bought one. Boy was I impressed with how it keeps me warm when I need it. Best of all, the battery is quite light weight and the design of the controller/battery reminds me of my son's iPod.
