Rated 1 out of 5 by Not for basketball! I bought these shoes thinking they would be good for playing ball in especially for guards and I wanted something lightweight, with an air sole and ankle support. Initially they were hard to get on because of the narrow opening but I did finally get them on. The air sole is a not a true air sole but some type of hybrid that felt squishy and lacked the grip to turn corners for explosiveness and quickness that most guards need. They also felt long and narrow and shape of the sole is designed for people with long, narrow feet much like KD and not me. However they are nice to wear with a pair of skinny jeans or casual wear as they are comfortable. It haven't actually played a game in them but shot around to see how they felt. I'm afraid to play in them because my ankles are weak and they feel more like low tops and not 3/4 as advertised. If you are looking for basketball shoes, you should probably look for something else like hyperdunks as opposed to these. Good luck! October 8, 2016
