Good quality straps
I bought these to tie my tandem kayak to my car's roof racks on my car. I have already traveled about 600 miles with the kayak tied down. It works great and they hold tight.

used to tie down kayak works great if your looking for longer ones make sure you ck and see if they are ratchet type never had much luck with pull ones can get longer nonratchiting ones and use the lower ratchiting from these if you need longer straps

Kayak Roofrack
Used these to tie down a kayak on my roofrack. Worked like a charm, highly recommend. Much more secure than using bungie cords.
