Rated 5 out of 5 by Holds very well Very easy to tighten down with ratchets. Put under both lips of my kayak and it didn't budge a bit. June 23, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by review im not happy with them. it was difficult to get them to work. used them right there in your parking lot to tie a kayak down the we purchased. wanted to return them more then once before we even left the parking lot. June 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by tie downs... a bit difficult to use..should have recommended a different type to hold down my Kayaks I bought 3 there. I have to go out now and get them racket straps) somewhere else June 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by They are ok but not Ratchet Ties Downs Says it in the ad but not true "Hold down your cargo safely with the CargoLoc 12' Extreme Ratchet Tie Downs." These may be ok for some things but I bought them to secure a kayak to my roof rack. They get snug by pulling the strap through and a cam with teeth hold the strap. There is no "ratchet" mechanism. I can see where they'd work well for somethings and I was able to get them tight enough but ended up with a fair amount of slack by the time I got home. I added bungee cords at a couple spots so I made it home without a problem. Would not use these for long distance. I am sure they be fine with other things that aren't so flexible and oddly shaped June 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by teeth don't grab Not gonna be secure because the teeth don't grab the rope go for the yellow ratchet straps. May 19, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible We bought these for our kayaks to help tie them down to get them home and they would not grip at all ended up spending the extra money and buying Yakima ones July 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by this product worked great We used product to haul 2 Kayaks on top of vehicle July 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Did the job Buy the rachet type - they hold better. However, for a cheaper quick fix, these worked just fine. July 8, 2014
