Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty and Sharp, but not finshed out so well I bought this mainly because of the way it looked and the Browning name. Once I got it home and out of the package I could tell it was hastily assembled without much attention to the fitting process. The handles have sharp edges that I will likely sand down, which is something I didn't expect to have to do to a Browning knife. Not a bad knife, just not what I consider Browning quality. If I hadn't lost my receipt I would return it. October 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Looks great, but thats it! When I first got this knife for Christmas I was so excited. The blade was very sharp, it was full tang, heavy feeling metal, I thought it was great. This past week I was camping with my kids and was going to show them how to split wood with a knife and start a fire with a Mg fire starter. When I started to split the wood the knife broke about 1.5" up from the handle. I was heartbroken and disappointed. I really thought this was a better knife with a name like Browning on the side of it. I think this knife would be great for things like cooking and general cutting uses, just not for a backwoodsman or survivalist. July 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad knife Got the knife home and it looked really good but that was about it. I was out in the woods and stuck it in a tree stump and the blade snapped in two. Do not buy this knife get something made in America. June 1, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by We Love This Knife! We recently purchased the Browning Dx 512 for my wife. Being avid campers for many years. My K-Bar has always been by my side, but was not always practical where cooking was concerned because of the blade's coating. So when we purchased the browning, my wife fell in love with the feel and weight of the blade. I must admit, once I held it, I too appreciated the overall balance and weight of it. My wife informed me that I was exhibiting Knife envy, (She was right), so I purchased one for myself. Very happy so far because we use it to prep food and it is awesome and can't wait for our next camping trip to field test it. January 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I own two, best knife for money! Just well made and designed, pretty knife. Sharp when you get it and stays that way. Size is perfect for camping and backpacking. Cuts a tomato better than a kitchen knife. August 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by too good to be true? its not it looks good, its full tang and comes very razor sharp and does not rust. October 29, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazingness This knife is just plain amazing. It is scarier looking than any other knife i have seen in my life. July 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good quailty and not too expensive Has a good feel in the hand. Lightweight compared to similar knives I have. Made in china like nearly everything else but to American specs and standards. May 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Knife Love this knife. Full tang blade. Solid, heavy and mean looking. The sheath has something to be desired; sometimes gets stuck going back in. I was looking for a good full tang knife, and this is it May 6, 2011
