Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, but not great. This is a fairly nice rod. I was a little worried because these rods have had a reputation for breaking near the tip if you looked at them the wrong way. Wright & McGill may have updated the manufacturing process, as this rod has a different paintjob than what's pictured - it's yellow from top to bottom. Anyway, i stressed it pretty good, and it's held up so far. In terms of absolute performance, it's a nice enough rod, although at this price point, you could probably do a little better. It's a wee bit heavier than some of the other rods in the price range, and the sensitivity is just so-so. If I had to do it all over again, i'd probably go with the Duckett Ghost rod at Dick's. It felt significantly lighter in the hand, and it's getting pretty good reviews. July 8, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Rod Purchased a 7'2" big worm / football jig casting rod with micro guides. Absolutely loved it, i have actually bout a second and they're my preferred rod to pitch with and throw top water baits. Very sensitive, not overly stiff and they have a great feel. June 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely the best value for the money - inshore fishing i have several of these rods and many other brands - the micro guides provide excellent control when casting with very minimal backlash in any - use power pro braid. light, strong and seems to be better than Clairus & St Croix. Rated 5 out of 5 by Skeet reese micro guide bait caster rod I like the low profile feel to the rod, especially with the lews speed spool tournament mg. I recommend buying this rod because this is by far the best rod I've ever had. The micro guides make it easier to cast accurate and farther. May 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Skeet Reese rod I have only used the rod once since purchase. Found it to be what I expected. A good rod for a reasonable price. May 20, 2014
