Wright & McGill Skeet Reese Micro Honeycomb Freshwater Casting Rods 4.2 5 12 12
awesome purchase I bought the 7'2 football jig/big worm rod with a fast tip. This rod has been perfect so far and for $100 they are well worth the money. It also helps that I got the Skeet Reese reel (7.0:1) for free with my purchase, but I definitely recommend buying this rod. March 27, 2013
Great Set Up I had been looking at the Skeet Reese rod and reels for about 3-4 months before I bought it. I should have bought it sooner. Loved it forst time out. Will get more to go with it, heck maybe replace all my rods and reels with his series. March 5, 2013
Great Worm Rod I purchased this on Black Friday - enticed by receiving a free reel with the 7' rod. Happy I did, best worm rod I've used to date. I have two other micro guide rods, I like them for fluorocarbon but they are not as helpful with braid. Too much friction with braid, but super sensitive. You can really feel the fish with this rod (great soft plastic rod when you need to feel that bite). I would purchase another one, but I'll have to wait for it to come with the matching reel again. I would recommend this rod. December 3, 2012
Love this rod! I have three of these rods that I use for different type presentations. Rod is very durable, has a lot of action, and just a delight to bring those big large mouths into the Zitro. November 17, 2012
Good rod for the money This is the first micro guide rod I owned- I like the sensitivity and weight. I bought it for its intended purpose- shakey-head and other finesse applications. It fits my hands well for this type of fishing. August 18, 2012

disappointment during a crucial fishing We have 4 of these poles and have been happy with their performance up until this recent purchase. My husband was using the pole this weekend for the first time and had a lunker bass on the end when the tip just snapped in half. Lucky he was close to the boat with the fish and we were able to net it to get it into the boat. This is the first time I took out insurance on a pole and I think I jinxed it. Now we have to go to all the efforts to take back for a new pole. April 16, 2012
good rods Haven't used the three new ones that I bought but I have used the two that I previously purchased and I like them very much. They cast well and my hook up ratio seems better. I would buy more if I needed any more rods. July 28, 2011
