Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by I would return it but too much trouble The rod is very stiff, it only casts with a heavy weight. The reel seat is weak. August 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Rod! This Rod will bring all your dreams to life. Be ready for a tight fit full of mouth penetration. August 15, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very poor product package protection When I opened yur shipping container, there were some "air pillows" just laying around inside the box. The tip top guide & the guide (5th from the bottom) were bent. The tip top guide was actually bent backwards it was hit so hard during shipping. Also the yellow paint was chipped off (about 3/4" x 1/14" patch). When I returned the pole, I taped the pillows around the tip top guide and also close to the handle to protect it during shipping. I sell on eBay often and I recommend the padded paper to protect an item such as this fishing pole. August 13, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke in half first hook set Got this rod and loved it until I got my first bite throwing a wacky rig. Very small largemouth about 9 inches and it broke right in half. August 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Zero regrets Just awesome, fought a 3ft shark. Did not break. ++ May 31, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wright & McGill Honeycomb Spinning Rod Purchased 1 yr. ago....While landing a fish, broke off 8-10 inches from end of rod. Have purchased 2 bait casters of your product with very good results. Very unhappy with the spinning rod I purchased. April 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fishing rod Couldn't believe how light weight it is and how much back bone it has wish I had two July 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible I purchased 2 of the rods, both snapped on my first fishing trip. I wasn't even reeling in a fish. The first broke on a cast the second broke when I was reeling in the line with no fish on it. I have been fishing for 20 years and I was not rough on the cast or the reel in. This is a malfunctioning product yes it was 70% msrp but I have to believe that this Issue must have been know . Very disappointed with the purchase. July 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fishing Rod! Purchased this rod along with 3 others during Dicks unbelievable sale, 2 Skeet Reese rods for $70.00 and the first time using it caught a nice 4.5lb bass. Great action and sensitivity also strong back bone to secure hook. June 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Pole Pretty nice pole for money spent (2 poles for $35 each). One of the two poles I bought arrived with a broken tip which leads me to question the durability. Dick's did promptly replace without hassle. Rods are shipped almost unprotected in large boxes without padding. That's a concern with shipping rather than the product itself. Pole was fun to use on the lake, caught a lot of bass on it. It does have a lot of bend in it, which I think may have led to a couple missed hook sets. But, that can be my fault. Can't catch them all. June 19, 2015
