Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fishing rod Couldn't believe how light weight it is and how much back bone it has wish I had two July 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Terrible I purchased 2 of the rods, both snapped on my first fishing trip. I wasn't even reeling in a fish. The first broke on a cast the second broke when I was reeling in the line with no fish on it. I have been fishing for 20 years and I was not rough on the cast or the reel in. This is a malfunctioning product yes it was 70% msrp but I have to believe that this Issue must have been know . Very disappointed with the purchase. July 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fishing Rod! Purchased this rod along with 3 others during Dicks unbelievable sale, 2 Skeet Reese rods for $70.00 and the first time using it caught a nice 4.5lb bass. Great action and sensitivity also strong back bone to secure hook. June 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Pole Pretty nice pole for money spent (2 poles for $35 each). One of the two poles I bought arrived with a broken tip which leads me to question the durability. Dick's did promptly replace without hassle. Rods are shipped almost unprotected in large boxes without padding. That's a concern with shipping rather than the product itself. Pole was fun to use on the lake, caught a lot of bass on it. It does have a lot of bend in it, which I think may have led to a couple missed hook sets. But, that can be my fault. Can't catch them all. June 19, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by hook sets and strength I wasn't able to get a good hook set and lost some fish. Got hung up on some lily pads and snapped pole in half December 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product great rods have 3 of them 4 2 years now no problems what so ever people need to use their drag correctly January 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rod, very sensitive and lightweight. This is my second Skeet Reese spinning rod. Lightweight, very sensitive tip, and plenty of backbone. I fish waters with heavy pressure, and use this rod to fish finesse baits/plastics. The sensitivity is such that it allows me to detect the lightest of hits. I am even able to detect bluegill, etc bites from bass. At first I was skeptical of how this rod would perform, but the rod has proven itself and it is well worth the cost. October 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice casting rod Excellent light action rod. Perfect for dropsshotting, casting light balsa crank baits, finesse jigs and shakey heads. Haven't caught anything over 2 # yet so I don't know how it will handle bigger fish. September 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great action After using many rods in the past. If you want a stiff tip and great feel for worms and jigs this is the rod for you. I also used crank baits and spinner baits and it worked great as well. June 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Extremely fragile rods We purchased two of these rods because the price point seemed fair for a fast-action rod with micro guides. Handling in the store seemed very fluid, and the length was just right for jigging trout and reds. You can imagine how disappointed I was when, on our second outing, one of the two rods snapped about 6" below the tip. No one stepped on the rod, and it was not in any way stressed more than it should have been. Chalking it up to bad luck, I removed the tip from the broken piece and reattached it to what was left of the rod. We now have a super fast 7'2" rod and a medium action 6'8" rod. Other than the breakage issue, the rods perform admirably, but I expected more from W&M. July 9, 2012
