great glove I asked for the best glove for my son. Only giving his size not age, 4 years old, 45 pounds and 4'2" in hopes to stay away from t-ball gloves. This glove not only made him feel good about himself but he played well with it. My son was basically a platoon player, mostly 3rd and left field. He had no problems with attempting to catch as the glove took a lot of the sting out. The leather is still extremely soft and this is after the glove has taken a complete beating (he is 4, not really worried about the longevity of the glove). My son is in love with this glove, if your kids hands fit this glove, I would recommend it no matter what the skill set. Looks great, easy break in period and up keep, well worth the money.... glove this is a very good glove but if you play outfield DO NOT GET THIS GLOVE. IT BREAKS IN BAD. August 5, 2012
