Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 120 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by reverse problems My new c2 kicks butt in all forward gears. It cuts through those Florida Lillypads with no problem and sneaks up on fish in the deep cover. Big problem though. Reverse is seemingly non existent. Regardless of the speed used it barely moves my 8 ft Sun Dolphin even if I'm by my self...Does anyone else have that problem also? If so I would love to hear if there is a solution. I'm not a rookie as I have had this boat with a Motorguide for over 20 years with no problem. Any help is appreciated. Overall great motor though! Rated 5 out of 5 by trolling motors Very good motor plenty of power it pushes my 19'/60" modified V with no problem November 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome little motor Purchased this a week age for my 12ft aluminum row boat. Ran it for about five hours without any problems. Has more then enought power to get my son and I and all our gear around. I plan on using it to troll a few small lakes for trout. I would recommend this motor to anyone looking at it. I love that it has three reverse speeds and five forward. It moves pretty good in fith gear. August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by i would recommend this this is on our 16 ft boat and it really is quiet! it works very well and my husband loves it! June 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by great product I use this motor on a small boat thats like a john boat and it works great. I can get a good 6 hrs of full power when i stop to fish and 4 when i ride around, I would recommend this instead of traxxis if you dont want to spend the money. October 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for trolling First off min Kota trolling motors have to be the most quiet motors built and powerful for most size boats August 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice motor nice motor had the 30 on my 10' jon, upgraded to a 12' v-haul with the 55.never ad any problems with them. December 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good buy Product works well and is easy to mount and unmount. Has plenty of power December 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product for the price Good product for the price! I like the battery connection no matter what type of battery it fits! I use on my 16 foot John boat with two adults and wind worked well! December 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far, so good... Have only gotten out on the water twice. Motor is very quiet, especially from 1 to 3. I agree with the other reviews I read: BIG difference from 4 to 5! Four moves you along at a decent clip, but hold on as five is like a turbo boost! First time I tried it I wasn't ready, but after a couple of times you get used to it. Reverse is almost non-descript unless you use the highest speed. Had to "beef up" the transom on my 10' jon boat as clamp screws remain a little too high when tightening. All in all, it seems like a decent motor and if it holds up like my old Motorguide Stealth 300, then I'll feel like I got my money's worth! October 13, 2014
