Good value
The price is right, but it isn't exactly optimal. The bearings needs grease added, and the 45 pound plates are a little smaller in diameter than they should be. Besides these pretty minor details the set is a good value and for the price just can't be beat.

The Best Value in an Olympic Set!
For the price of this Olympic set , you won't find a better value. I didn't weigh every plate , but I did weigh the bar , and it was within a few ounces of 45 pounds. The plates have hand hold cut-outs , and have a nice finish. The bar is chrome plated and has good knurling in the grip sections.
My only complaint are the ridges on the ends where you load the plates. Yes , they probably put them there to help keep the plates from sliding , but they are noisy and make it slightly harder to load/unload plates. If you put a good collar on a smooth bar , you shouldn't have any problems. Other than that , it's a great package. I bought the set to use with the Marcy Pro Compact Trainer; I needed the weights, but not the bar. I sold the bar on Craigslist.

Great Set!
A great set and probably the best deal around! My only complaint about the product is the two clamps that come with it. They are very poorly made and it can be a struggle to get them on the bar even when squeezing them as much as you can.

Mostly good.
Individually, each component of the set works fantastically; unfortunately, the quality can be inconsistent. After unpacking and testing this set at home, I found that I had to return a 25lb plate and both spring collars as these did not fit the bar. After exchanging them, I broke the set in and gave it a proper lifting session. It all works well except that the plates are a little loose; if you buy this set, I recommend getting something to hold the bar slightly higher off the ground than the 45lb plates would to make loading for deadlifts easier.
A second note for those who lift quickly (such as Crossfitters) , or those who would not normally use collars - if you decide to purchase this set, PLEASE use the collars. The weights will likely not stay on otherwise.

My son loves it!!
I bought this set for my son, along with a March Olympic bench. I don't believe there has been a day he hasn't used it. I have had surgery on both shoulders and plan to use it to build my strength back. The only issue I have with it is that the retainer springs are very difficult to place on the ridged bar.
So far, we love it!
