Great for turf.
My son (age 14), who has trouble with growth plate issues in his heel, uses these turf shoes for anything other than sloppy grass. They help soften the impact on his heels and alleviate a good bit of the discomfort.
With respect to traction, can't beat it on turf or bermuda grass.
Quality of the shoe is at the same level as any other Warrior product.
His cleats are Warrior 2nd Degree and they are as durable/comfortable as those - plus some.
Don't hesitate if your son/daughter is having heel pain.
Also, you may want to consider getting a gel insert and replace the pad that comes with the shoes - that will also help out.

Awsome product!
I use these almost every day for softball, they work great for turf, grass, and dirt! very good shoes.

Great for when playing on turf
Got these for my son playing in a summer league almost exclusively on turf and he loves them. A lot easier on the feet and ankles vs. wearing regular cleats. Ordered a size up because he seems to run a size larger in Warrior shoe/cleats

Goalie Approved
My son is a varsity goalie for a upstate NY team; home games are played on turf. He had complained during the practice season that when the turf was wet it became slippery. We invested in these shoes. What a difference he said they make! He was never a lover of cleats on grass as he complained that the ground around the goal becomes hard and dusty and cleats made it worse, so he was always a sneaker kind of guy. So, at least from a goalie's (and a goalie's mom who cringes everytime a 80 mph shot is aimed at him) opinion, he now has more control of his movements!
