Customer Reviews:

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 54 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Buy I bought this to use with my son who is seeing a pitching coach. This is the first mitt I've owned so I don't have anything in the way of comparison. Out of the box, the gloves fits my hand perfectly (average sized hands) and is broke in enough to use right away. It's just a little stiff, so I dropped more pitches early on until it broke in more. After about a month, the glove is broken in very nice and seems to be holding up pretty well. I'd buy it again. November 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality & Value I bought this mitt to catch for my sons who are learning to pitch. Despite the smaller size of the glove and my size (I am 6'1" - 190 lbs), this thing works like a charm. It has ample padding, yet is nimble. The glove is pure quality leather throughout. Reviews are sometimes suspect/self-serving, but I am telling you, this glove delivers the bang for the buck. By the way, I had my oldest son pitch to me in the store while I tested all the mitts on display (including the more expensive mitts) and I settled on this one due to feel as well as price. You can't go wrong. June 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by already feels broken in, feels great! I would highly recommend this mitt, for any catcher July 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great youth glove This glove was bought for my ten year old son. It is made of thick leather and well padded. For 60.00 it's a great deal. Quality for a low price. July 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy break in, nice quality. My son bought this glove for the all-star season. So far it has served him well. Required very little break-in time and fit him well. Other team mates use the glove and also like it, well done Rawlings! June 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Catcher's mitt Nice Mitt. Needs softening and working in. A little harder to catch with than fielder's mitt. It is comfortable and gives good hand protection. April 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rawlings Catchers Glove Pefect fit and style for my 9 year old. Enjoy shopping at Dick's. March 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good glove, great price I had to look online for a glove because I am a lefty thrower. I found this one for $59.99. I was a little afraid because a few reviews said the glove was a little small. I am 27 and have slightly larger than average hands. When I put the glove on, the leather where you put your hand in hurt my hand a bit. But after breaking the glove in, it fits perfect and doesn't hurt at all. I recommend this catchers mitt. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Mitt I purchased this mitt due to my son wanting to work more and more at his pitching. Granted, he is 8, but throws pretty hard. I was not enjoying catching him with my regular glove, so I wanted a catchers mitt which would help protect my hand. This glove was reasonably priced and works well. Sure, if I would have paid an extra $50-$100 I would have received a better mitt with more padding, but this one is really good for the price and it fits my adult hand! July 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lasting padding I've owned this glove for about five years and the pads are still intact and as thick as the day I bought it. The break in only took about 15 minutes of catch. It wasn't insanely expensive either. Great product! October 25, 2014
