no it isn't cheep
have had a Nokona for over 5 yrs now, been my primary glove for 3 1/2, Switched to a Mizzo, It's good but the nokona just feels like all is right in the world when I slip it on. Will prolly buy new one next year.I say excellent value because after 5yrs still feels great and still in great shape. replaced some of the rawhide between index & third last year but that was pulled out of a rawlings that I had so no $ there....

Quality sold the product
A great product by a great company. The quality of this glove is the reason I bought it. But the company also has a good rep.

Best glove EVER
I've had this glove for about 17 years. Best glove I have ever owned. Today I realized that I left it on the fence at my sons practice. So, after my deep depression, I went on line to find a new one and found this and after reading the reviews, I learned that I just need to buy a new one. Best glove ever...

Nokona Hard to Beat
The Nokona name is for real. The quality & thickness of the leather is A+. Built very well. Bought for my 17 yr old son. With the build quality of this glove wouldn't be surprised if it gets handed down to his son someday.

Reward Yourself With Quality
For years I hesitated to spend the money for a Nokona glove, and for years I missed out on playing with a quality American made glove. During my purchase I called Nokona to ask a few questions. SURPRISE!!! A real human answered the phone and quickly assisted me with my questions. They sold me on the spot!! This glove feels like squeezing a brick when you orignally slide your hand in, you know at this point that it will require some training before taking the competition field. Now, weeks later, it fits my hand like a "GLOVE" pun intended.... I did also purchase the Nokona glove treatment, rubbed it into the leather, wrapped it in a towel and placed it in the oven for only a minute, this was only to warm the leather, NOT COOK IT... This warming process in my opinion made the leather more pliable as I worked the conditioner into all areas of the glove. If you plan to continue with Softball, spend the money on a quality American made glove... See you on the playing field...

Best softball glove
Simply put - for softball I could not find a more comfortable glove. The break in period is a few weeks of play, I broke it in with petroleum jelly which Nokona recommended before releasing their own line. This is one of those purchases where "You get what you pay for"

Best glove for the money!!
I've been using my Nokona glove for the last 15 years in thousands of fast pitch and slow pitch softball games and it's now finally time to replace it. I wouldn't buy anything else! You definitely get what you pay for...Nokona makes a tremendous glove. Try it and you'll never use another glove!

For [$] bucks it beats them all to 400
Used for softball(recreational)and self practice using return pitch net. This glove is by far the best I have ever used. I have tried them all, really, high priced gloves made all around the world. This glove is all American and leather in and out, no junk fur or syn liner, none, zip. All great leather - soft where it should be and firm where it should be. Really, this will start me looking for USA products when I buy - it is made truely well. Hope they stay US made. The best feel, conrol, catch opening radias, catch sound, breaks in solid, you name it... best in the west and the world for a high grade glove.
