Rated 5 out of 5 by techlady SmartWool Socks are my favorite socks.
I just discovered SmartWool socks a couple of years ago. They are the warmest socks and are great for that morning walk on days when it is warm enough to walk outside. I won't be buying any other kind of socks---they come in all thicknesses so are fine for the warm summer months too.

These socks are perfect. I've had them for two years now and still in good shape. They keep my feet warm, and if they get too sweaty they absorb the moisture without getting wet. I love how thin they are so I can wear with my fashion boots, unlike thicker socks they make it a tight fit. Bonus, they come in great colors! It is kinda on the pricey side, but worth it.

The socks fit very comfortably. Snug, but not tight. I love the warmth they provide, without
being too bulky.

Smartwool socks are warm, wash well, and are good for many wearings. I love the new patterns and colors in women's socks.....looks much better than my husband's plain socks!

This sock has all the great attributes you'd expect from Smartwool. It's warm, fits well, wears well and is attractive. The greatest parts are (1) the thickness; and (2) the natural fibers. They're thicker than typical department store socks and have some cushion but they're not as thick as athletic socks so they fit well in your casual shoes. The wool is very comfortable (no itching) and they feel much better on your feet than synthetic socks.

For the price-I expected great things. And these socks are worth it. Wash them inside out in a lingerie bag so they don't get fuzzy. Just looking at the fun bright colors takes me back to all the great hikes I have worn them on. Try one pair-you will want more!
