Must Have
A ThermaCELL is an absolute must for any type of outdoor activity in the southeast. I wouldnt hunt turkey in GA without one.

ThermaCELL Mosquito Repellent Refill Unit
The refills are the same as you get when you buy a new Therma-Cell unit. The price is about the same as anywhere else you buy them (Big Box stores). But this will keep the nasties off you all the same.

Great skeeter deterent
I could not hunt early season here in Louisiana without Thermacell. The skeeters out where I hunt are big enough to carry off small children and thick enough to blacken the sky. Without Thermacell, I would not be able to hunt before late November.

IT JUST WORKS!!!
whether i am camping with the family, catfishing on the Cape Fear, or down east on a bear hunt my Thermocell is with me and a refill kit is in my backpack!!! I refuse to leave home in warm weather without it!!

good
It says ordorless but its far from it. Good thing is the deer smell it but dont freak out. The downdfall is its hard to get refill butane cartridges by themselves. A refill pack comes with one cartridge and a few pads. The butane runs out and Im left with useless pad unless I buy another refill that only has one. sometimes I have issue starting them. If the aera is infested with mosquitos and you have lots of skin exposed, you will be bit somewhere, happens to me.

Don't go in the woods without it
Early season for deer and especially spring turkey, I don't leave the house without it. If the temps are up and the mosquitoes are out ... this will keep you bug free for sure.

Wouldnt go in woods without it
I live in Florida and hunt in swamp and marshy areas where the mosquitos will eat you up. Wouldn't leave home without it!

A must
Takes a couple of minutes to warm up, but when it does all the bugs leave. No swatting at mosquitos giving your position away or anything of this nature. I like to sit on the ground in the middle, not the sides, of the Great Dismal Swamp in Suffolk, Virginia. Spring 2012 hunting season the bugs were everywhere, but they did cause a problem on my outtings.

I use these everytime I hunt in South Florida. They give off a little scent but it's worth it to keep the skeeters off of me!

It will save you hide and hunt.
I hunt on a crop damage permit in Maryland. That means, 95% humidity, 95+ temps, and swarms of mosquitos. Before I used Thermacell, I couldn't find anything that worked, and at the same time didn't give away my scent to the deer. This stuff works and it doesn't seem to bother the deer. Just go somewhere with lots of mosquitos and turn this thing on, then turn it off for about 10 minutes. You'll be looking for that ignitor switch PDQ.
