Clam Ice Fishing Chair 3 3
a real good chair for ice fishing after waiting for a second chair to arrive i was finally able to use it. the chair folds out quite easily .once its open if a wind blows by it knocks the chair over. once the chair is set up you have access to all compartments.as far as carrying, the straps could have been placed in a different spot so as the chair can fit more comfortably on your back. you can also fold the back of the chair over to access another compartment for your tip ups.the comfort of the chair is great you sit up tall and not sink into the chair like other camping type chairs. it is easier to get out of the chair when you see a flag pop up. it is pretty light in weight and very easy to transport. after a long day on the ice the chair folds up in less than 2 minutes. it takes longer to fold your tip ups than it takes to fold up the chair.it is also very sturdy it holds up my 225 lbs nicely. i strongly recommend this chair, but please inspect your chair my first chair arrived with the tubular frame blowing through the fabric. Cool concept, but fell short of expectations I was very excited when I saw this chair...it's perfect for early ice trips without the sled. A backpack chair with everything but the auger?! SOLDFirst trip out, the darn thing ripped at the zippers and seams. Then the pole bent to a point where it almost broke. Needless to say, it went back to the store. December 28, 2013
This does it all! I had been looking to buy a case that I could carry my rod/reel combos and tip ups in and keep them protected. Then I found this! It not only keeps your gear protected it also has a few functional pockets to haul around more stuff and is a pretty comfortable chair. It's much better to sit on than a bucket and doesn't take up too much room in my portable. My best purchase as a couple time a year ice fisherman. December 28, 2012
