8 Yr old loves it
My 8 yr old loves the extra protection while fielding, too. It does seem a bit bulky, but he doesn't mind it, and it did not restrict his mobility. I agree with all other comments that they run big. He normally wears a Medium, and we got a small, which is a pinch big. We use a tight Under Armour shirt over the protector to keep it from rising up and that was very successful. I predict this would be quite warm on hot days, but my son doesn't mind the heat. It also gives him additional protection while catching and he know longer fears blocking the ball with his chest behind the plate. And THAT's worth the price. It says it's machine wash and drier capable. We're about to find out.

Runs big, long
Bought this for my 8-year-old. Normally wears a large, but a large in this product is way too big. He looks like he's wearing a He-Man costume under his jersey. I like the concept though and plan to buy a smaller size. I want to make sure his sides are protected when he's batting.

Great Protection
I play SS on my league team and allstar team. I am much more confident with it on and am not afraid of staying is front of the ball. Does not mess up or make it harder to throw. LOVE IT!

Son Likes it.
These shirts run big. I have a 9 year old and I got him a Youth Med and it is big on him. Other than that it seems to be a good shirt. Luckily he hasnt been hit but I think it gives him the confidence and isnt worried about gietting hit as much as he was before. Peace of Mind.

Great multi-sport product
My boys get this body armor every year for baseball, soccer, and for airsoft. They love the comfort, the fit, and the padding. I just wish they could grow with my kids so I wouldn't have to buy new ones every year! :-)

too bulky
Bought this for my son, he tried it at practice and couldnt move right it in. It was very bulky and it restricted his movements.

Could fit better
Bought for my son. Fits well around the chest, however, some of the lower padding tucks into his pants making his waist appear big. If lower padding isn't tucked in, it's too bulky and looks like he has a big belly and chest. I bought it a size smaller for a better fit.

It might just work
I'm, going to use this shirt as an inside chest protector in fast pitch softball. The only thing not covered is the shoulders, but the collar bone and heart is covered. Since Easton doesn't make them in adult sizes I ordered a youth XXL, it's a little tight but I think it will work. Find out this summer when the season starts.
