Rated 5 out of 5 by SPONGEBALL - BEST GAME EVER Played a game called Spongeball for 30+ years until my arm gave out. Started playing with an inferior ball and then they started making THESE. This ball is the same size and weight as a hardball with raised seams just like a hardball and it is durable. The old balls would deteriorate and crack in half. These last for a good long while. The game is played like stickball with the strike zone on the wall except you get to use a regulation baseball bat too. Obviously, you need a larger field than a stickball field but if you find one (usually the back of a warehouse or school)....it is a great game. Make up your own "automatic" rules for hitting and outs. You get to pitch and hit, but like 25+ at bats depending on how many play. 1 on 1, but 3 on 3 was the best so everyone could go 3 innings. Great game. Pass it on.....and this is the best ball to play the game. July 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rawlings Rubber Baseball I bought the Rawlings rubber baseball for my grandsons. I found it to be safer for them to learn to play catch with and it dosent show the scuff marks from hitting the sidewalk .. May 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by training ball we bought this to help our son get over his fear of catching the ball. This ball works well because it softer and he's not ad afraid of it pegging him. May 18, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rubber Baseball I don't actually use the ball for baseball. I use it to press into my sore muscles, especially my leg muscles. I run a lot, so this is part of my rehab/recovery routine. March 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice ball to learn with Been using this ball with 5 year old son. Good ball to work on catching. Not a good ball for grounder practice since it has a lot of bounce to it September 22, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not like they used to make them Went through 4 balls in 2 hrs. They were splitting in half after hitting them with a wood bat. Growing up we used to play with one ball ALL day in a schoolyard. Pitch into a box on the wall and hit with a wood bat. Today one ball will last for about a half hour if you're lucky. August 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Training with confidence Safe, soft and firm for my T-ball player. We like it because you can catch and throw without being afraid of getting hurt like the hardball July 21, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not like they used to make This rubber ball isnt a long lasting and sturdy as rubber balls they used to make. We used to pitch rubber balls against brick walls for days or weeks. This one was pretty well beat up after an hour. Its fine if you just want to play catch with a softer lighter ball. July 14, 2015
