Too light
These balls are too light to pitch over 15 feet or so. Lighter feel is good for soft toss not BP.

Worth the extra couple of bucks
I have purchased other plain white whiffle balls before, and there is a noticeable quality difference with these whiffle balls. Not only do they hold up better (i.e., they don't split apart), they are a little heavier so they aren't effected by the wind as much, which allows me to toss them more accurately. They also travel a little further when they are hit, which my son likes. So even though they cost a few dollars more, there is no doubt in my mind that they are worth it!

DURABLE TRAINING BALL
VERY DURABLE training balls. My son hits them in the garage daily. They take the abuse of his bat, the walls, floor -well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Great training balls
I purchased this item to throw faster balls at my younger son. That way if they hit him it won't hurt. Since they have holes all the way around they do not move in the air as much as the older wiffle-balls that we all used to play with. I highly recommend this item for training or just for fun.

worth every penny
i thought living in ohio that indoor is the only way to go and these are the way to do it. dont need a large net or a lot of room. just an area in the garage to take a few swings. get the swings in before the weather changes with no damage to your walls and of equipment.

these hold up
these are the first plastic baseballs that have lasted more than a week with my 11 year old slugger. great for back yard play, i would recommend these and will most likely repurchase them myself.

Just what you'd expect
I've started throwing overhand pitches to my 5-yr-old son, and these balls work perfectly. Plus my son likes the embossed seams since they make the balls look more like real baseballs. Also, had great service in Dedham store - guy went to stock room and brought out a few options that for some reason weren't on the shelf.
