This is a great ball for teaching kids to catch. It still has enough weight to keep from easily bouncing out of a glove, but is much softer/lighter than a t-ball. I was very pleasantly surprised.

This is a value buy. I've got three boys learning the finer points of catching baseballs and this is a great contribution to that effort. We've already had the ball hit them a number of times and cause little to no pain in the process. Compare this with the tennis balls I used as a kid and the heft/feel of this soft baseball very closely mimics that of it's harder bigger brother. Great buy, I'd recommend it and will probably buy another.

So far I have been very pleased with the soft stitch training ball. I bought it for my t-baller for hitting, fielding, and throwing. I don't have to worry about a bad hop bloodying his nose or a line drive like I would a typical hard ball.

Ball is excellent for playing catch and practicing pop flys without the danger of a hardball. This is the only ball I allow my 9yr. old son to use when he is playing with his friends around the neighborhood. It also has a nice feel and good weight.

I used the IncrediBall to build confidence in my son's ability to catch pop ups and line drives. I am using them now to build confidence in my son's team I am coaching. The IncrediBall is heavy like a baseball but is soft in case the learning player doesn't field the ball cleanly with his/her glove.
