Rated 2 out of 5 by It's fun for a toy but not too accurate The ball is fun for a novelty item but that's about it. Once in a while the speed sensor seems to be accurate but most of the time my 9 year old is either throwing it 20 mph or 120 mph so it isn't really consistent. It definitely does not replace a radar gun. June 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Works Excellent We have had this ball for over a year and the battery is still good. We use it maybe twice a month. Never had a problem with it. Every pitch is consistent. My 9 year old loves it when he knows he is getting in the high 50's. It is easy to calibrate for 46 or 60 feet. Only on rare occasions does it not show a good reading. It is so easy to use. Why so many posters here have problems with it, I don't understand. Sometimes when I miss the catch, it bounces up against a tree, but we never bounce it on the ground or use it with a bat, or when its wet, and it has performed great. And for $15 bucks you can't beat it. March 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good My 9 year old son has only had this for a week. We are using it a lot and enjoying it. Seems reasonably accurate. If it still works a year from now I will say it it great. September 18, 2011

Rated 1 out of 5 by It doesn't work. The readings were inconsistent and instructions for calibration were not clear. September 15, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy it Unaccurate and doesnt work well August 7, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Broke first time by 7-year-old used it. The first time my 7-year-old son used the ball it broke. We had been waiting to use it. Very disappointing. I won't buy another. August 27, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ouch!! I picked up this ball and knew it felt light. I know how a regulation ball feels and this did not feel like one. i went out and threw with one and the speed was accurate. My arm felt weird after i threw the ball. I had a tournament two days later and when i picked up a regulation ball, my arm felt weird again. I went out to pitch and my arm hurt after the 1rst inning. I went home and found out i had pulled a muscle in my arm. I don't know if it was a fluke that the ball was light or if all of them are but if you get one and it feels light don't throw it!!!
