The roller blades perform as expected
My daughter bought me the roller blades for Father's Day. I have only used it once so far but they worked as expected.

Improved product
I have owned various Rollerblade products for the last 25 years. My first were Lighting, then the Cool Blades. The lighting Blades were very good and held up well, but were stolen. The Cool Blades looked great and the fit and comfort were very good as well as their performance, but the plastic construction gave way to molecular breakdown, and they just fell apart. So I went a few years without blades. However in February I decided to buy yet another Roller Blade product, the Spark 84. They are measuring up to the company's continued pursuit for a good product. The fit is excellent! From the first day I put them on, I hardly know I am even wearing them. The style is updated and sleek, and the performance is what I expected from Roller Blade, smooth and solid. I am only sorry that they have taken away the ability to "Rocker" the wheels which caused me to buy another set of 80MM wheels so that I could have my "rocker" ability back. If the construction holds up, I hope this may be the last set of blades I will purchase!
And if they don't last more than 10 years, then I will probably be too old to blade anyway. I do recommend this product for the mid-level skater.

Good step up from novice
Felt really right the first couple times out, but became much more comfortable with use. The frame can be adjusted, which helps with the way I skate. Good step up from a beginner skate.
