Rated 5 out of 5 by Lisa24 Clava to keep your head warm and dry
Shortly after I got this clava, we had a heavy wet snow with relatively high winds. Before owning this clava, I would wear a ski cap with my face and neck getting cold, a cap that would blow off in the wind, or a hood that would block my peripheral vision. I was shoveling heavy snow and breathing hard but my glasses didn't fog up. My head stayed dry even though I had snow piling up on my clava. And my face and neck were very comfortable. We blew a hydraulic hose while I was standing next to one of the pieces of equipment and my head and arm got drenched in hydraulic fluid. So I hand washed the clava with cold water and laundry detergent and hung it to dry. The clava that was drenched in hydraulic fluid cleaned up very easily, the seams held up well and it was ready for the next outdoor adventure the next morning. Great for hunting too given the excellent peripheral vision that this clava offers. This is my standard headgear for hunting in late archery season and clearing snow off the driveway.

I purchased this clava to wear when riding my ATV in the brutal winter wind we are all aware of during hunting season. I was impressed immediately by how well the item worked. It delivered a comfortable, snug fit, kept the wind and snow off my face, fit perfectly inside my helmet, and as it turns out it is even waterproof! I give it a solid A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by secret santa gift awesome item
I have given this as a secret santa gift and I have heard nothing but great things about it. We live in MA and we just had a snow storm with temps in the teens and the person who now owns this item says he could just stay outside all day and shovel in this thing. This person does not have a car and walks everywhere to get around and says this is perfect.

This was a gift given to my boyfriend at Christmas time. In the winter time, with his job being both indoors and outdoors, I knew this product would def. come in handy! Not only is he happy with the product, but he has also mentioned wearing the Seirus Men's Ultra Clava when hunting or four-wheeling in the woods. The reason I rated this product good instead of excellent was b/c the sizes offered are S/M and L/XL. Where is the inbetween size of M/L? After checking a neck chart, his measurements suggested a Med. would fit fine. Only hoping his neck doesn't get any bigger though :/
Over-all very happy with the purchase and know you/ your spouse will be too!!

Actual Size is just too small, smaller than advertised...manufacturer issue not Dicks...but I would expect it to be a little cheaper...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mom in Illinois A perfect 3-in-1
It keeps the wind out of my son's ears so he doesn't need a hat, earmuffs or scarf. I bought this for my 6-year-old son who has a slightly larger head than most kids his age so the men's size is perfect for him. He was very surprised that he could breathe so easily out of the nose area.

As I was checking these clavas out, a Postal Worker lady said she could not survive without hers. My son and I were going on a ski trip to Colorado. I wanted to be prepared for any weather. So I bought one for myself and my son. I am glad I did. When you wear this with a pair of ski goggles, the only thing not covered is the underside of your nose. We never had a problem with getting cold. No matter what the weather, it didn't bother us a bit. Having the little "flap" on top of your nose did a surprisingly good job of keeping our noses warm.We had a great time. Oh ya, we usually wear stocking cap over ours so it doesn't look quite at strange. :-) I have recommended these to everyone I know.
