Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good. I've only had the rod for a week and a half so I really haven't gotten comfortable with it yet. I have caught more than 2 dozen kokanee on this this rod so far and here are a few quick observations: The reel seat trigger is great and gives added control when I've got a fish on the surface and near the motor. The cork grip has a good feel. The reel seat and butt end is nearly 6 inches longer overall than the dozen other kokanee rods I have thus making this rod effectively feel more like a 7 ft rod rather than a 7.5 ft. Also I'm accustomed to using an ultralight rod so this rod feels stiff, but not too bad. All in all a good rod for the price. Now if they would built this rod as an ultralight and shorten the cork butt 4 to six inches while maintaining the 7.5 ft lenght it would be a great rod! October 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by good rod for the money This is a great rod for the money. bought it this sunmmer, when kokanee fishing in lake cle elum with not very much luck. so we switched it up and went for some lake trout. caught a med size fish about 5lbs or more and the rod worked just fine for some bigger fish! Rated 5 out of 5 by SST Kokanee Rod brings em in The people at Okuma really nailed it with the Okuma SST Kokanee Rod. Great quality and designed right for Kokanee. This rod loads up and has plenty of flex. August 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by puting the Okuma SST Kokanee to the test I have spent the last 4 weeks testing this fishing pole from my boat casting inshore under various wind conditions. It has proven itself to be just what I needed, with its 7'6" length It has enabled me to cast farther with less effort and with its light action has given me the sensitivity to detect the lightest of strikes. I have caught walleye, smallmouth bass, and white bass on this rod in various water depthes and look forward to catching more on my okuma kokanee. August 28, 2012
