Excellent for young explorer!
Gave this watch as part of my 10 yr.old nephew's Christmas present. He is quite the young explorer and scientist and of all the many, MANY presents he received from the family he was most proud and interested in his new Timex Expedition watch and is learning all the easy to understand features. He was especially excited about the waterproof feature and the compass. While skyping w/uncle in Seattle he learned that his uncle had the same watch and the watch has withstood many a marathon run and mountain climbing/hiking. Watch was just abit large for my nephew's thin wrist/arm but did fit overall.

Fantastic!
This watch has been running, hiking, and biking, it's been swimming in pools, lakes, and rivers, and timed countless things. It's accurate, comfortable, and it looks good! This watch is worth a lot more than the price tag set on it, I would highly recommend buying this watch to anyone who enjoys doing any sort of physical activity!

Great watch for all around use
I've had this watch for about two years now. Mine came with the cloth band - I prefer that over the rubber, velcro or leather band (simple to remove and wash thoroughly as needed). It's been swimming, camping, hunting, hiking, running, biking etc as well as slobbered on regularly by a one year old with no problems. Temperature ranges from 0 to 100 don't seem to affect it. I wear this watch on a daily basis and love it. The indiglo backlight is a nice feature. Good basic durable watch.
