Rated 3 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Terrible instructions, unit works great There are far better instructions available online than the ones shipped with this unit. Took me a hour of messing around to get the Sigma Sport Base 1200 installed on my bike, in the correct language, with MPH, clock set etc... There are easier units to setup but this computer will be just fine. Does all that you need and then some for under thirty bucks. April 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Great Just what I was looking for, have two wireless that are always messing up, no problems, will swith my other to 1200 wired as they need replacing March 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Poor After trying to read the instruction manual, what a mess that thing is with multi lanuages that won't let you get thru a subject without multi pages. Anyway I tried to set my wheel size per the instructions and the screen locked-up. I can't get it to work and it's going to be returned as soon as I get back home!!!! I have installed more than 6 bike computers without any problems. September 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent & Accurate Sigma Sport Base 1200 Wired Bike Computer This Sigma Sport Base 1200 Wired Bike Computer is an excellent and accurate accessory for serious bicyclists. I had previous purchased the wireless one of these and it never worked and replaced it with this WIRED one and it is doing a fantastic job. This bicycle computer gives has many numerous functions that tracks your average speed, maximum speed, your current speed current/average speed comparison and trip time. The distance, current temperature and time are also displayed. This Sigma Sport Base 1200 Wired Bike Computer helps you keep track of how far you biked and the time and speed and is accurate. It is great for those who want to track their ride and want to increase distance and average speed. It also tracks TOTAL distance and time you have rode since you put the item on your bicycle so you get the full information for each ride. It can be reset for each ride but the total ride also remains which is awesome! This item works great and I recommend getting this WIRED one. The wireless never worked, but this wired one, even though you have wires, they can be concealed and it does and accurate and great job at tracking all your data. July 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Difficult Purchased while on sale. Cons: Manual is difficult due to multinational printing. Set button on rear of unit was difficult to depress to get working for setup. Had to remove battery to restart settings several times during initial setup. Do not believe o-rings will last holding equipment. Pros: Contrast when set to "3" made this unit easy to see while riding. Easily attached to stem. Make sure you install max. of 1/4" from magnet. Had to install on right side close to axle due to disc brakes on mountain bike to get it the right distance. Also, if changing tires, don't forget to reset tire size on unit. I went from 26x2.1 to 26x1.75 and it became very inaccurate until reset. Also consider using thin wire ties to mount. April 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great I decided to go with the wired version so I could use the computer with my indoor trainer. By utilizing info from the back wheel I now can follow my indoor trainnig sessions. Easy to use after installing. Installing wasn't really hard but took a minute or two to figure out how the bands are supposed to loop around (directions did not do a good job of explaning that). I have used it outdoors as well and it is easy to read and toggle between the screens. I am very happy with the purchase. January 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Unit I had a little trouble setting up the unit because I could not locate the set button. I have had the unit for three weeks and it works great and easy to use. Installing it on the bike was easy. October 17, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by it broke it broke but the co was great and gave the part to fix it August 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by id give 5 star if directions were good! Good product. Accurate distance readings on my mountain bike trails, so one has to assume the speedometer is correct also...the directions r horribly organized, with different languages on every page...I would say they are the worst directions I have ever read in my life. But I youtubed a video, which worked out much better! HAPPY TRAILS! August 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Setting up the 1200 I've noticed that many of you are having trouble with this Computer... It is important to make sure you have "ALL" the setting correct. REcheck tire sizes to read Imperial not metric. You have to choose Imperial from the tire size chart and Imperial on the computer settings. this is easy to confuse. I did ! once you get it right It works perfect. July 7, 2012
