Rated 2.9 out of 5 by 63 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy To Use Easy, accurate.....While I probably will never use all the features offered the ones that I do use seem to be right on target. The trip odometer with the miles that I ride is accurate and helps me to keep a good record of how I'm doing. The speed records are helpful as well. They allow me to see the progress that I'm making as far as time is concerned. All in all a great product. October 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by not for hardtail 29er Set up of the computer was a challenge with minimalist directions (not much info but the little bit was provided in about 20 languages) and I eventually determined that the instructions did not include the code for 29 inch wheels. Also did not feel secure about rubber-banding the sensor on a large-circumference suspended fork. I returned it. But Spotsy VA store staff are always great; Mike was helpful in advising me on other purchases. September 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by very hard to work Comes with very little instruction on how to use. I now have it on another language than english and can not figure how I got onto the other language or how to get it back to english. We bought two and one of them didn't work right out of the package, Dicks returned it for me and I got a replacement right away. It is not simple to operate.Guess I am going to have to go on the internet to see how to get it to work. Instead of the product book coming in umpteen different languages it should have more instruction on how to use it September 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by for the money what could i expect its an ok,,,,bike computer....does what i want it to..tho it is extremely touchy and you must have things absolutely precise to get it to work properly. the computer can only be 15 degrees from the wheel transmitter...which is a bit of a pain....the wired one is about 15 dollars cheaper,,and much easier to mount and no need of such absolute precicions..buy the cheaper model September 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bike computer The old one finally croaked, so tried this inexpensive model from Dick's. Works perfectly, and the first 25 mile ride came within 0.02 miles of agreeing with my iPhone. Easy to mount and use, unobtrusive and easy-to-read screens. September 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works Great! This bike computer has everything I need functionally. GPS doesn't work so great in parts of my bike ride so I want something more accurate on distance and speed. I am training for a triathlon so this is important to me. I have setup the until on my bike and rode 10 miles for a test. So far it has worked great and I am very pleased with this bike computer. The hardest part was the initial installation. You might need a screwdriver if you need to adjust the position of the base. Also, the user manual is not so friendly. It is difficult to read because they have 6 different languages on every page and you have to constantly search for the only parts in English. I quickly learned how to switch modes and set the bike wheel size (look at the chart for your wheel size and then type the number to the right under the MPH column). Once you set the wheel size it is all downhill. I did have to find a larger rubber band to hold the wireless base on my bike. You could use zip ties very easily as well so this was not a big deal for me. I am a very technical person and I HAD to read the user manual to figure out the details and specifics of placement and configuration of this device. If you do not read the user manual you will most likely NOT figure out how to setup this device. September 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bike Computer Wonderful little bike computer. Easy to install and set up. Very accurate in any mode. Instructions are a little hard to follow. August 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent product After figuring out how to use/set the bike computer, I'm happy with the purchase. Unfortunately the instruction booklet is poorly written. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by THIS BIKE COMPUTER WORKS GREAT THE SIGMA SPORT BASE 1200+ WIRELESS BIKE COMPUTER WORKS GREAT. IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL. August 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Device. Terrible Instructions. The device works very well once you tweak the placement of the spoke magnet with the pick-up device. Also, keeping fresh batteries in both units is crucial for accurate readings, since it depends on the wireless connection in order to get a constant reading while in use. As to the instructions on installing it and calibrating it, there is a lot to be desired. Lost in translation may be a better description.. So overall I would rate the product due to the poor instructions. August 9, 2014
