Rated 1 out of 5 by adam26 DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this unit from a local Dick's because I wanted to start tracking my mileage. The instructions are near impossible to figure out, and once you do, the product will not work. I cannot get it to register anything, no matter what I do. Also, while it is advertised as having a clock, even when you follow the directions, you cannot change the time, so you are stuck with whatever the factory time says it is.

I bought this item and have used it half a dozen times and it has worked perfectly. Very easy installation and working it has been a breeze. Being wireless makes it that much easier and maintenance free. Very worth the $40!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moolah57 Great Buy
I am replacing an old wired computer. Did not think this would work well on my road bike based on reviews. IT IS GREAT! Easy install esp with YouTube video tutorials. And, used along-side previous wired computer for first 50 miles and proved accuracy. I will say that the temperature reading seems off. But, not that big of a deal. I wanted it for the other functions and they are flawless so far. Really like the center-stem mount option. They provide extra gasket bands if you break one. I did not as the tutorial gave good instruction on how to install carefully. Sigma 1200+ wireless rocks!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lilteapot55 Good, but difficult set up
Once you understand the directions this is an overall good product. I had a moment of brief insanity while trying to assembly the bike computer. I almost threw it against the wall because I could not understand the instructions. I have very little patience. Thankfully, I have a tech savvy brother in law who was able to come to my rescue and finish the assembly before I ran it over it my bike. Product good. Assembly/directions very very bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bottm4UBoy Beware: Sigma Sport Base 1200+ Wireless Bike Computer
When I saw this wireless Sigma Sport Base 1200+ Wireless Bike Computer in the store I was excited because it was wireless and I thought it would look sleek, nice and would be functional. I had a bicycle put together at the same time and paid to have this Sigma Sport Base 1200+ Wireless Bike Computer put on my bicycle. When I got home, the display was on (so I know the battery was good). The display was on, but did not register the speed, distance, ect. I brought it back to the store after I had paid to have it installed and exchanged for a WIRED one. I do not recommend this wireless Sigma Sport Base 1200+ Wireless Bike Computer. It did not work from the start even after the store installing it. I would stick to a WIRED one that works perfect. Sometimes wires are not so bad when it comes to things working appropriately. Also the wired is more cheaper than the wireless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by trike rider Good at first but ......
Set-up was a pain, but once done, the unit seemed to work well. I didn't do a lot of riding at first, so issues were not noticed. However, now that I'm a weekend warrior riding 50+ in a day, the unit seems to have issues. My spouse's computer (not the same as mine) records mileage consistently. My Sigma has gaps in mileage - doesn't record. Also - it seems to have quit, and I thought it was the battery. Not so. I replaced batteries, but now can't get the unit to do anything. I too will go back to Dick's and request a refund or replacement. Sigh.
