Good feel, Breaks very easy
Ive had 2 of these rods thinking i broke my first on accident however After I bought the second and it snapped the tip off while untangling my line (JUST like the other reviewer had stated) I realized this is a cheaply made rod. Ive bought 15$ micro graphite rods that were meant for Ultra-light setups that were tougher then this rod.
I bought the 10 foot 6 inch rod first, had it for only a couple months before busting tip after tip off till it was only about 8ft in length, but i liked the feel of the rod so bought another one but only 9 feet this time. Broke within one week, I should have just spent my 80$ total on a good name brand rod instead of the cheapest noodle rod i could find.
I have been steelhead fishing for the better part of 7 years and every season I land several hundred steelhead, This rod is NOT what is needed for steelhead alley or salmon fisheries. I would HIGHLY reccomend saving your money and buying a rod that can take punishment of these fierce fish.
