Good Quality
I use these for wading while fly fishing and couldn't be happier. Pockets are deep and well drained and the fit is very comfortable. They are breathable which makes them great to wear all day even during hot days on the water. They're good enough to wear off the stream.

This product is what I was looking for.
The only thing I wanted on this pair of pants is an internal belt that comes with the pants. That's the only thing I would change! True to Size!

Great Pants for all seasons
These pants are awesome. Lightweight, comfortable and incredibly flexible with the ability to convert to shorts in one minute. Also love the freedom and range of movement while in these pants.

Columbia Convertable Pants
I purchased these pants before a trip to Central America as I was planning on using them both as shorts and as light weight pants in the jungle. They functioned perfectly, fit very well, look good and are super comfortable. They also zip apart to become shorts or return to pants very easily and quickly. I now find myself using them now that I'mback home as well. Overall just really nice convertable pants.
I should note that I tried a couple of other more expensive premium brands as well and kept going back to the Columbia pants. They are better at a lower price.

Columbia pants
Big disappointment in these pants. Husband has 3 pairs of similar Columbia pants & he loves them. These arrived stiff & wrinkled. He tried them on & while they do fit, they don't look good on - have too much fabric in areas that make them balloon out. Pockets were changed in undesirable manner & wrinkles just don't hang out. I am returning all 4 of the Columbia garments - the 2 pairs of pants & the 2 shirts. Sorry but the quality dropped significantly in this year's line.

Pretty Good Pants
Good product. These pants had the zip-off leg feature, giving maximum flexibility on hikes in varied terrains and climatic conditions. Very comfortable blend of 65% cotton, 35% nylon was good breathing, wind resistant.
Well made: the leg zipper was flapped on both inner and outer surfaces - it didn't scratch my leg or snag on anything outside.
